Animal Kingdom Pool Refurb ?

Does anyone know how long the pool refurb will take at Animal Kingdom Lodge? We are booked for December 15th-December 21st. It isn't a deal breaker for us because pool weather is very iffy during December. We have a pool view and I was curious if I should move to Savannah view or not worry about moving at all. So far the news has stated 9/1/2018- Winter 2018. Did you receive an email? If not it, it may be finished by then barring any bad weather we may have.

If you like assurances, then I would suggest the savannah view. If I was reserving a room at AKL, I would book the savannah view room, which is what makes the resort unique.
