Animal Kingdom or Epcot with a 3 and 5 year old?

Visiting in September and I can't decide between spending a day at Epcot or Animal Kingdom. Kids will be 3 and 5 at the time. Right now I am leaning towards Epcot -- because I think my we will all enjoy that park more than Animal Kingdom, but I would love your thoughts or advice!

Either is fine, but I'll vote for our second favorite park, AK. Both the Lion King show (my personal favorite show on property), and the Nemo show are great for kids that age, as is Flights of Wonder. The safari is something all will enjoy as well. Rafiki's Planet Watch is geared towards that age, and when you need a break, the Boneyard can keep kids wonderfully entertained for a very long time.

Our girls loved Epcot at that age so much that it turned into a two-day park for us. For little girls, it's great because there are so many characters and as parents we were able to enjoy every country by letting the kids do their passports and spend time at each country's Kidcot. Not to mention the rides, attractions, and Illuminations. AK is great, but our girls at that age enjoyed Epcot more.

Our 3 & 5 year old GDs loved AK, but if you have park hopper you could do AK in the morning and Epcot in the afternoon/evening. You can easily see both parks as both of our GDs were not that into the countries at Epcot but they did love some of the Character meets and Crush/Finding Nemo/aquarium.

If your little ones are really into the characters go to Epcot. Epcot has a great aquarium also. AK is awesome for the safari, train, animals, dino bones dig play area for the little ones.

If kids like animals AK all the way Lion King is amazing ...may want to rent strollers..it is huge

Epcot is great for little ones. My girls loved it there. Turtle talk is their fav.
They enjoy the countries taking pics and souvenirs. They all have a parasail from China with their name in chineses and I pic in country
