Animal Kingdom on NYE?

Is it "worth" going into the park? i was able to get FPs for what we want at times we want. All within a 4 hour time period in afternoon. Has AK ever been closed for entrance on NYE?

I would seriously doubt it, especially since they don't have any fireworks.

No it has never been closed for entrance on New Year's Eve. AK has only hit a phase two closure twice. It'll certainly be the least crowded park on New Year's Eve

We entered AK on NYE around 1:00pm last year and we had fastpasses scheduled too... It was so crowded it was hard to walk anywhere and we ended up not being able to make one of our fastpasses because the crowds slowed us down with fastpasses 1 hour apart. I just want to warn you to maybe not have fastpasses be all in different far away locations or to be okay with missing one but if you go in the morning, maybe you won't run into what we did! Have fun!

we have done ak for the last 3 years on NYE. its busy, but some of the new construction changes have made it much easier to get around. The only place we've ever encountered wall to wall people is right near the safari.

We are also spending NYE at AK. I'm not worried about it closing at all.
