We are considering visiting Animal Kingdom on a EMH morning. We would NOT be park hopping and would plan to spend a full day at AK. I imagine we would get plenty done in the morning, but how bad will crowds be in the afternoon? I figure i would save our FP+ for the afternoon (use them for Lion King, Everest and Safari), maybe do the train to affection section, see the bird show. Would we be able to do those things with reasonable crowds in the afternoon or will it be drastically worse when compared to a non-EMH day? In the morning we would do dinoland and the animal trails and exhibits. Any guidance welcome thanks.

It all depends on what time of year you are going. The last two trips that we did AK and had morning EMH we went right for the Safari and then over to EE. Most of the time the animals are the most active in the morning on the safari. If it is in the summer or the weather is to be hot, I would suggest going on the Safari first and getting a FP for later for it in case some of the animals aren't out. This last trip, we went on Halloween to AK which had morning EMH and we got in line for the sarfari first, and right back on it again. Then we went towards EE. I changed our safari FP for later in the day to see the difference in time of day and the animals.
