Best place/ time to view the Tree of Life Awakening?

We have the ROL dining package - how early do we need to arrive since it's a reserved section?

Anything else we should know about AK after dark? Sadly I don't think we'll have time for the nighttime safari...

We were told in Tusker House where we got our tickets to be at Rivers of Life entrance across from Expedition Everest about 30 minutes early, or they may start letting others in-We actually got there 20 minutes early as we went the LONG away around through Dinoland, still had to show our reserved seat tickets, and still were able to find 7 seats together, although not on the same row, but seated front of/behind each other. This was during early September when crowds were low though-

We watched the awakening at the Oasis, a great view. You just have to wait for it, but its every 5-10 minutes, at least when we were there.
Have not doen the nighttime safari, but its on the to do list.
Shouldn't have to arrive more than 15 mintues before RoL unless the park is crazy busy. Rarely full in the non reserved areas.
