We will be in Disney next week!!! :woohoo:

I want to hit AK on the morning (April 22) that it has the MORNING EMH. Regular park hours for that date show 8:00AM to 8:00PM~so I think the park would be opening at 7:00AM for the EMH. Is that right?
We are staying at POFQ and planned on using the bus to get us everywhere. How would we go about getting to AK for the 7:00AM EMH? (Because I didn't think the busses started until after 7AM?)

Also, which route is the best to take through AK to get to Expedition Everest? Through Asia or Dinoland way? Thanks.

(btw, I also played the game for the free EE ride pic and now can NOT find the coupon anywhere on my computer, I never could view it after I won because AOL kept trying to take over and said it could not open the file-so if anyone has an extra one they won't be needing.....please PM me!)

The hours listed on the WDW website are ALWAYS "regular" hours (EMH's are always "added" to them.)

So if it says 8am then, yes EMH would start at 7am

The WDW buses start running very, Very, VERY early. :thumbsup2
So just go to your PO bus stop (allowing for about a 20 minute trip to AK from there) and wait for the AK bus.

BTW, you will want to get to the AK gates 20 or so minutes EARLIER than even the EMH time, as they start letting guests in early so they can walk to and get ready to see the Rope Drop Ceremony- "The Adventure Begins".

It takes a while to walk to that area, and it fills with guests rather quickly.

The ceremony is really kind of fun, and is timed to allow guests to start heading for attractions at "exactly" the hour slated for the day to start (7am in this EMH case).

As to wheter to go via Asia or Dinorama...
After the rope-drop, there should be CMs that will actually LEAD everyone headed towards EE (and Safari) at that time to the attractions.

Otherwise... it is actually CLOSER to the ENTRANCE (and FP distribution) of EE to go through Asia, but many here claim they like to go via Dinorama... I've done both, and its really a "draw".

Don't take the route through Dinoland because when we were there yesterday, about half the group that was at the rope went that way and they ended up in the stand by line behind all of us. The stand by line starts facing Asia past the fastpass queue which also gets a huge line itself. FP's sold out around 2 - 3 pm. I recommend going through Asia.

Didn't happen. Everone took off running. The CM thing worked well at MGM but not AK.

I wouldn't go through Dinoland. It was funny wathing their expressions when they saw the size of the line they had to get to the back off and with all the people coming from Asia, it keep growing faster and faster

Wow, so try to be at the BW bus stop by 6:00ish for AK EMH, the kids are going to think I lost my mind. :rotfl: I have a bad feeling that the late MK EMH is the night before the early AK EMH, I better recheck my schedule.
Through Asia it is then. Thanks for the info.

Better bet is to head for Kilimanjaro Safaris first. You get a different "show" there early in the morning as different animals are out and about then.

The fastpasses for Exp. Everest won't be sold out that fast. Furthermore the fastpass machines might not be opened right at rope drop for extra magic hour.

We have done the KS a gazillion times including the Sunrise Safari through the AKL concierge so I would not be getting up to catch the 6AM AK bus for KS. But I had not thought about the possibility of FP not being open for EMH. Our plan was to get EE FPs 1st and get in the stand by line and ride and then go to KS before returning for our EE FP time. We usually avoid the EMH parks (except MK late EMH) so I better check into this EE FP early EMH thing a bit further, thanks for the heads up on FP availability :wave2:

Alice & Spectro see you in line for EE, we are def. going there first and we will go through Asia!
Alice, AK has MORNING EMH on April 19-22-24 (so being at the bus stop for 6:00 AM is correct? We won't be standing there forever?)
And in addition to being open almost all next week until midnight. The MK has EMH EVENING April 21, 23, 30~

We got on within 1 mins, got a FP for 10am then rode Primevel Whirl and Kilimanjro Safaris after E:E. Both PW & KS only had 10 min waits. Everyone was still hanging around E:E. Passes were gone by 2PM. Tomorrow AK is open till 11pm, 3 hours of extra magic hours. That will be a good time to ride!!
