Animal Kingdom Lodge

Just trying to get an idea of cost for those specifics, but don’t they change all the time? That’s what I meant by impossible, not that staying at the resort is for sure.
I do know that we will probably get a retired military discount as my father, who would be booking but not going is retired active duty. Or am I wrong?
Hello, your plan sounds like a lot of fun! As a service member, I know that in order to receive the military discount, the service member (or spouse with dependent ID) booking needs to be in the party staying at the hotel. As an alternative, I also support everyone’s recommendation to rent DVC points if you are sure that you will travel on your planned dates, meaning that you won’t cancel or change them after booking.

The person who is military, active or retired, has to stay in the room to receive a military discount. They will ask for proof, either at booking (you have to call a specific number to book a military rate) or upon arrival. So your father would have to be staying in the room with you.
