Has anyone stayed in Animal Kingdom Lodge before their wedding and do the hotel do anything special for the "happy couple"

Experiences may vary, but a thread like this on the restaurant board was recently shut down. Your stay at the hotel promises you a night at the hotel, nothing more. It's possible that the staff might do something special to celebrate, but not promised in any way,shape, or form.

I would try and find out what options were available for purchase to make the stay more special (massages, champagne, flowers) but not expect anything for free.
Many people go to wdw to celebrate one thing or another and it would be hard for wdw to do something special for everyone celebrating.

They *may* do something, but ultimately, it is up to the "happy couple" or the happy couple's loved ones to PAY for something special to happen.

Thousands of people are celebrating something special every single day at WDW. WDW can't keep up.

I have stayed at AKL around 10 times... some of the times it was my sons Birthday another time another room we had it was their anniversary... all listed on the reservations.. sometimes they remembered to give that person a pin other times they did not one time it was oh and I almost forgot your pin.... The staff is great at AKL but for reading reservations and doing things special... not so much in my experience. In the end the only thing they can ask for and get is a Pin but they can get that at any theme park or guest services as well. The website I listed is "the Disney florist" they have a lot of different ideas at different price points and they will work with you should you want something specific or have a specific amount you want to spend... They are also the only florist that can put things in their room.

I see you have stayed at AKL 10 times,this will be our first
Is it really good ,really looking forward to it ,especially as our daughter will be getting married at SEABREEZE Point while we are there
