Hi! I'm trying to plean our breakfast for each day of our trip and was wondering if anyone knows about food at AKL? We're leaving Saturday and staying in savannah view. This is a first trip for all of us! I have seen mention of a food court at some of the resorts but have only seen mention of the sit-down restaurants at ASL. Anyone know if there is a place we could get maybe a bowl of cereal and a banana for the boys before we attack the parks?
We have allergies here too---4 year old allergic to milk, peanut butter, eggs, fresh fruits (i know, that one is weird!)---anyone have ideas? also, do you take along snacks from home? (gummy bears, cereal bars, etc...) We are flying.

Thanks for your time!!!!

They have Mara - we stayed at AKL with an 18 month old and the breakfast fare there was fine for her... we always take snacks with us...as far as all your allergies...I don't know...
they did have mickey waffles....

Just as a fyi - I have food allergies & Disney is one of the few places I can go & enjoy food- be sure to tell your server before each meal that you have a child with allergies & they will offer special meals & foods - I have had chefs come out & make something special not on the menu for me & get foods from other restaurants just to accomodate me.

Also- Boma's at AKL is fantastic - I know this is not answering your question but we enver miss having a breakfast & a dinner there - my girls even enjoyed the foods.

have fun!

You will love AKL...was just there April/May with my just turned 3 yr old and 17 month old. Mara's is great as is Boma's. I took some snacks with and just got others there or if you can stop at a grocery store on your way into the resort area.

Have a great trip.

We will be there in 2 weeks with a 2yr old. Do they have refrigerators in the room or must you request one?
