Animal Kingdom Lodge - what does this Priceline room type mean?

We just got a standard room with this description... does it mean we might be in a DVC room? The bunkbeds would be awesome!

Standard View: 2 Queen Beds, OR Queen Bed and Bunk Bed, OR King and Day Bed. Room type assigned at check in based on availability. Max 2 guests. Hotels may charge for additional guests.

Those are the configurations of the Hotel side rooms (DVC rooms would be a Queen bed and double sleeper sofa and would have specifically listed as a Studio on your reservation). I believe the current refurb happening at the hotel is removing the bunk beds.

King bed room is now a bookable category at AKL so my guess is that the bunk bed rooms are being replaced with king bed rooms. We used to request a King room but I was able to book a King room in Feb with pool view.

Lovely! That will be the only room request I make then. Seems like toddler can sleep on the daybed.

Your toddler will need to be under the age of three. Otherwise, you have three guests and you are limited to two according to the description.

That is just the standard PL wording for "room" assigned at check-in subject to availability. The PL offers are always guaranteed to sleep 2 Adult guests.

You can have more than 2 Adult guests and 1 infant combination subject to the normal resort rules / room limits and additional guest fees may apply for more than 2 Adults aka 3rd Adult charge.

Note: A King room is max 2 Adults and the other rooms are max 4 Adults.

Have you linked the reservation in MDE? After you are able to do that, you can call to add another guest to the reservation (as long as the room capacity allows it).
