We are staying in a 2 bedroom in September and I was wondering if anyone knew in the living room area where the sleeper sofa is if there is also one of the chairs that turn into a bed as well. If so is it a twin size or more like a futon size. I wasn't sure if the room description I was given was for the rooms in the existing Jambo house where we will be or in the new DVC area that isn't complete yet. Thanks in advance!

I believe the couch and chair both make down into beds. However, the chair is definitely a single. It is like a large stuffed chair that folds out into a single bed. Not sure about how they both work in the living area though. Hope someone posts that has actually stayed in a 2BR at AKV. We just purchased a 110 point add-on there and can't wait to stay.

If anyone cares, it is snowing and cold in Illinois. Everyone is sick here. Wish I was at WDW!:cool2:

We stayed in a 2 brm in Dec., the chair is a single and a good size for a child. Our DS4 slept on it and was fine (35pds). Both will open together but you will have to move them around a bit. THe villa is very nice and has 3 flat screen tv's. We moved to SSR during our trip and did not want to leave AK

We were in a 1BR....which is enough to answer your questions since it's about the LR area:

That's the chair, opened up. My 3 year old DS is the one sleeping on it....

I'd say it's not like a futon style or size (bigger than that) but a bit smaller than a twin. I think a kid would be plenty comfy on it, but a good sized teenager or adult MIGHT be a wee bit cramped. I was OK on it, when I laid down to try it out, but it would certainly have not been my first choice. At 6 ft 2, my feet hung over the end a bit, and you can move "up" because the chair is a pretty solid "headboard".

That's the couch, opened up, with DS3 and my 5 year old DD lounging in it. It's roughly queen sized.

They DO both fit in the LR when opened up. We did it every night. It's tight, but not SUPER tight.

The BIG difference between the Jambo 2BR's and the Kidani (new DVC area being built) 2 BR's will be an extra bathroom and some sq footage. The 2BR at Kidani will have 3 bathrooms (Master, 2nd Bedroom, and off the Living room/kitchen area) while the Jambo 2BR only have 2 bathrooms (Master and 2nd bedroom).
