Animal Kingdom Lodge view question

DH mentioned that he would like to try Animal Kingdom Lodge with a savanna view and to stay club level. Do the DVC club level rooms guarantee a savanna view or do we have to choose one or the other? We are looking at a one bedroom.

There are only five two bedroom lockoffs on the sixth floor of Jambo House that are considered Concierge villas. They get booked at 11 months out right away when booking opens for the day. You need to own at AKV to get that villa.

Three of the two bedroom lockoffs are savanna view with a partially blocked view of the Sunset Savanna. The roof overhang gets in the way. The other two two bedroom lockoffs are pool view.

You get what you get, so you might not get one of the three savanna view villas. You can't request pool or savanna view.

If you really want a savanna view, don't book the CL villas. Book them for the access to the concierge lounge and ability to book the Sunrise Safari.

Thank you for the advice. I am pretty sure he wants the view more than the club level services. This would be a surprise for him so I would rather get what he wants.
