Can anyone tell me where the Deluxe Savannah Rooms are in AKL? I believe they are on the 5th Floor, but are they in every part of the Resort, or just on a particular Trail?

I know they run all along the top floors. These are the 5th and 6th floors, i think. I know ours was on the 5th floor. There doesn't seem to be any deluxe rooms on the front of the hotel overlooking the valet Parking and parking lots.

Deluxe savannah are on the 5th floor on the U-shape part of the Lodge.

Mazzy, we will be there Dec.1-6 in the same kind of room. I ask for the Zebra trail as everyone seems to think that's the best. Just got my ressie's in yesterday and am waiting for a phone call to give my Am Ex number. We are so thrilled as we had planned on taking our 3 grandkids to Disneyland and then their parent's said they could go too so we have 2 deluxe savannah rooms at AKL in DW!! We really wanted concierge but couldn't get that with a DC discount and could not justify $2,284.78 difference for the 2 rooms. That will pay for our plane tickets!! My grandson really wanted to do the sunraise safari but will be glad just to be there!! Oh to be rich and afford it all!LOL!

Hi - I got a great discount on concierge room using new discount code that is out instead of our disney club discount. We saved 40% and it was only a few dollars more than the deluxe savannah. You may want to try calling. Good Luck!

Sherry,where did you find that code. Would it work for Dec.1-6 at AKL? I had small world travel from mousesvaers working on it and she told me she would keep checking but so far nothing. If there is one that would work will you e-mail me the code and particuliars? Thanks!! Linda

The code I used is BBK. It is for room only. I found it on mousesaver - "Heavily discounted rates are available with Code BBK for check-ins 11/3/02-11/25/02 and 11/30/02-12/25/02. Discounts range from 25% to 40%." I think that there is also a code if you want to include passes but I couldn't find it. I think the "Embrace the Magic" package includes passes and the same discount on the room. Call the regular 407-WDisney number to make reservations. If the first CM says that they do not discount concierge rooms, try calling back. One of the CM's told me when I called that the code was coming out in a few days and to call back then. When I called, I was told concierge is not included. I hung up and called back and the CM who answered my second call said no problem. They had to call someone and ask for the room to be 'released' at the dicount price and it took awhile. I think that some of the CM's who answer just don't want to go to the trouble of calling for room release. Good Luck and let me know how you make out. I was finally ableto snag a ressie Dec 4-9 using BBK but its a deluxe savannah room. I tried concierge--cm said they were all gone. But this wasnt the first time I called about dic rooms at AKL but this was the first time the said they had a room. CM told me all disc were pretty much sold out: bbk, bbn, ap disc etc. I tried everything, lol. Even tried the poly too. Cm told me the only rooms they saw left were AS.

And I was told by small world travel which I got off of mousesavers that there were concierge rooms available at AKL but only at regular price!! Looks like you lucked out Sherry!!! Way to go!!! Thanks! I will e-mail my travel agent and ask her about that code.
