Animal Kingdom Lodge Prices

Ca anyone help, we have planned a trip to WDW for 21st Dec - 4th Jan, we booked our flights seperate from our accommodation, and we are currenlty booked to stay at the Omni Championsgate, but would really like to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, does anybody have anysuggestions where the best deals can be found?

Hi Vicky,

Have you tried getting a quote through Dreams Unlimited - they do accommodation only and will try and get the best deal for you. As you are going through holiday season there may not be any discounts on don't think even there will be any annual pass holder discounts at that time either.

Yep, that's the peak of the peakiest time of the year to go, so not may discounts, if any. Try Dreams Unlimited, as suggested, as well as AAA. Even if you're not a member, it may be worth it to join if there is a discount available.

well you can try to rent a reservation from a DVC member and stay there.

a studio has a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa.

a 1-bedroom has a king bed and in the livingroom a double sleeper sofa.

both sleep 4.

you can get a value, standard, sv, or concierge.

standard is either parking lot, garden, or pool view
value can be anything - but no guarantees - same with concierge.

if you want a Savannah view - then I would go with SV.

now this is a new resort and lots of DVC members are trying it this year.

So no guaranteeds about getting a villa at all.

that say - pretty sure you will find someone to rent you one. just go to the DVC rental/trade board. read the faq's at the top. if you still one want post an ad - read the ads first - there may be one.

renting dvc points is not suggested on fri or sat -they are too expensive. Although if that is your own choice - most of the time still cheaper than paying rack prices.
