Animal Kingdom Lodge pool slide

We are leaving for AKL in 9 days and are wondering if the pool slide is open again. I read a post a few weeks back saying that the slide had been closed for some reason.

Is there anyone, who has recently returned, who can tell me the status of the pool slide? My DS(4) and I have been looking forward to trying that slide.

We were there 10/2-10/4 and the slide was open when we swam on 10/2 and 3.

I don't think it has been officially closed any time recently...

When we were there 2 weeks ago, thry simply closed the slide when the lifeguards went home. Usually at around 8pm, as I recall...

The pool is definitely open 24 hours...
