Animal Kingdom Lodge Pictures (warning long load)

Our first stop on our recent WDW trip was the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I know there have been a lot of questions about whether or not a Savannah View is a good thing. The first series of pictures is all shot from my balcony. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to sit there in the morning or at night and see the animals right outside the room. The two resteraunts at the AKL were awesome!

Some of these were shot with a telephoto lens but I have included a few that were not so that you can get a feel for what the view is really like.

My goodness, it is amazing isnt it! My niece and nephew stayed there with a savannah view recently and were raving about it. They didnt take pictures though. I'm so glad you posted yours.

Great Pictures, Alex!

I've been addicted to AKL pictures because we're staying there in a few months.

What floor were you on? It looks high. Would you recommend a high floor or a lower one?

WOW!! Those are some beautiful pictures Alex... I love the lobby of that resort, and Boma's is pretty awesome. I love your veiw it is incredible. Glad you enjoyed your stay!

What wonderful pictures, Alex! They took me right back to our 3-night stay there a couple of weeks ago. I haven't got to it yet in my trip reports, but we had a fabulous time there, too. We had a pool view, which was very pretty. I wish I'd had a telephoto lens, your pictures of the animals are beautiful!
