Animal Kingdom Lodge In Room Breakfast

My husband and I are due at AKL in about three weeks. I was thinking about ordering breakfast for in the room to help speed up our morning. Has anyone else done this? I know it's a bit expensive, but I like the idea of more park time, especially if I'm aiming to get there at rope drop.

Anyone had any experience with this, good or bad?

Done it plenty of times. The breakfast is great and the portions are just right. You will have the menu's in your room. Fill them out, place them on the door by the time indicated on the form and you will have your breakfast when requested. I highly recommend it if you prefer not to go down to Mara for breakfast early in the morning when the cafeteria is packed.
