Animal Kingdom DVC Studio questions (dishes and W/D)

Hello! Try as I might, I can't find confirmation of this question anywhere! Do the Animal Kingdom Single Studio DVC rooms come with any dishes/silverware? Also, is there a washer/dryer in the room?

Dishes/silverware - no but it will come with a set of 4 paper plates, bowls, and plastic ware.
Washer/dryer - no.

If you are booking on DVC points, you won't get housekeeping except for every four days. You can ask for more of those supplies though.

You have access to a free washer and dryer in the laundry room.

If you intend to cook at all most folks bring "real" items such as plastic plates, a good cutting knife and bowls for cereal etc. There are many things you can prepare in a microwave! Have a great trip.

My sister and her BIL were in a standard studio @ Jambo House last month while the rest of us were in a value 2 bedroom which was a 1 bedroom plus a studio. I asked my sister if she wanted to take the box of cereal she requested I order from Gardengrocer and she said that they didn't have any paper bowls in their studio so they would just come by and use our kitchen to eat breakfast. I checked the studio portion of our 2 bedroom and we didn't have paper bowls either! But I noticed them on the housekeeping cart so if you want them, they are available!

I'm staying in a Jambo house studio in June/July. First visit with kids to WDW!

I am going to order breakfast food supplies from Garden Grocer. We'll eat on DDP for lunch and dinner. Sounds like I should order a bit of plastic utensils and bowls/plates?

You do not need to order anything as far as plates/bowls/plastic ware. You can get as many as you need from mousekeeping or pick them up at any QS resturant.

In the past we have brought along plastic bowls and wine glasses from the Dollar Tree when we stay in a studio. It is also worthwhile to bring a small knife and cutting board. This little kit can get you through cereal or oatmeal in the morning and wine and cheese during the afternoon break from the parks. Of course, you can request the knife and board from housekeeping, just do it in advance.
