Animal Kingdom Drone Patent Theory

By now everyone has heard that Disney have patented some drone technology to utilise at the parks. If not you can read about it here

Well I've got a theory about these drones. I've been thinking about it for a little while now and believe I may of cracked it.

My thought is that with Avatar land and the Tree of life getting a lot of work done, Disney are looking to extend the attendance time at Animal Kingdom with a night show (Not a new idea I know). Now we know that fireworks are a no no at this park due the animal presence so my belief is the drones will be used in a light show around the tree of life taking the shape of atokirina. These are the little seeds of light that featured in the movie with the tree of life becoming Tree of Souls possibly utilising some other trees to stage actors in a home tree.

To fully make use of the patent I also believe some of these drones will carry the screens needed to project characters etc. onto, think Fantasmic and you'll be half way there.

Well that's my trail of thought a literal brain dump.

What do you guys think. Have I cracked it or can you see any other use?

Possibility. I am hearing they will first use them in Shanghai for a show.

It's the way they have decided to specify the light emitting drones that got me thinking this way.

Glad to hear people are thinking the same or at least this is a possibility.

Got quite a wait to see if this does come to life at Animal Kingdom isn't it scheduled for 2017 so the Shanghai shout seems a great possibility.

My hubby was saying the same thing, it is the noise issues with animals that make these perfect for the AKs new nighttime show.
