I can't say I have seen any backstage construction activity at DAK (well nothing worth getting excited about anyway)

I'll keep my eyes open tho.

That area has looked pretty much the same for many years. Nothing has really changed.

There are plenty of rumors of them doing something at AK, but it is probably several years out from even being started - IF they follow through. Right now, all effort is aimed at the FLE.

I know there was a rumor that broke a few months ago about an Aussie land even made it to WESH news. That rumor died quickly.

IMHO DHS and DAK needs the expansions.

The rumor has been going around - but my searching has seen this as a rumor that was started as speculation...as in one site says "what Disney should do is put an Australia land in DAK" and it became "Disney is putting an Australia land in DAK!"

That area that you show has looked like that for ages. There is no actual work going on at DAK. Now, there are most certainly expansion plans somewhere in WDI, but nothing is going forward as far as actual construction. Disney could not hide such a thing, and would most certainly announce it prior to starting.

Since BK was never confirmed, I don't think so. I do think it was cleared as a staging area for some other project, maybe EE.

yes that cleared land was for EE construction. BK was suppose to go in the front of the park where camp Minnie-Mickey is and the green space by the bus station.

I am sure they have something planed in the FAR,FAR future for that space.

honestly, it looks like from a layout standpoint that something will eventually go there. But it will probably be a while from now.

I can confirm that there is indeed construction happening at Animal Kingdom however it is nothing to really get excited about.

There are construction workers working pretty much from the back stage entrance all the way down the road, past the back of camp and up towards to parade staging area.

I talked to one of the construction workers today and all they are doing is making a wider, safer path for cast bicycle and foot traffic that is not quite so close to the main road.

So once again, there is construction work just not the kind to get excited about.

what on earth makes you think that management has any desire to dump hundreds of millions of constuction dollars into animal kingdom?
