Animal kingdom club level Christmas

Well we have been to Disney many times but never at Christmas and never stayed at AKL. sure hope all is back to “normal” by then. Or almost normal. Any way. Looking for little help on room location. I know the club level rooms are on the 4th floor and lounge is on 6th. So where do I need to request room for ease of getting to lounge but also have the best savanna view. Thanks for the help

Well this is a tough one. Both trails zebra and kudu offer better views if you are further down the hallway. If you are near the lobby you wont have a great view of the animals because of the arusha rock formation in the middle of the Savannah. The zebra trail is the same side as The Mara, Boma, Jiko, the main elevator bank to the CL lounge and the pool. But the Kudu trail offers better views, IMO. Unless you are at the end of the hall, your walk is only a minute or two to the lobby and its lovely because you can look at the animals all the way down the hallway. Also the lodge is always beautiful but at Christmas its stunning. One of my favorite memories was being in the CL lounge and a local chorus came in and sang lovely Christmas carols around the gigantic tree. It was truely magical.
