Does the club concierge give you an automatic view of the savanna or do you have to select Savanna to make sure you get savanna? If it Club concierge doesn't give you a savanna view what makes it better than the savanna view? I hope I'm not too confusing. ;)

Concierge primarily gets you:

*access to the club lounge – free snacks and drinks for concierge guests
*access to club perks – only concierge guests can book the sunrise safari tour, for example
*daily mousekeeping and turndown service (if I recall correctly)

Some concierge villas have savanna views and some have pool views. The savanna views are not great. You are on the 6th floor and based on reports, the roof obstructs the view somewhat. If you primarily want a savanna view, don’t worry about club level.

There are only 5 concierge 2BR lockoffs total, so unless you own at AKV, they are awfully tough to get...

You really won't want to book Concierge level for the view. Three of the two bedroom lockoffs have a partially blocked view of the savanna. The other two are pool view. If you book concierge level with DVC points, you get daily housekeeping, turn down service, access to the lounge and the ability to book the Sunrise and Sunset Safaris.

If you really want a savanna view, book a regular savanna view, not concierge level.

We've done Club level several times. We've always gotten a savannah view, but as mentioned these aren't that great. We did get a room on the 5th floor once (they must have been over booked) but that is a rarity.

I personally think the club level far outweighs the value of the savannah view. There are plenty of places to see animals, but only club level gives you the lounge with food and drink several times a day (we never go out for breakfast when staying there). There are even adult drinks in the evening (beer, wine and cordials). Add to that access to the fantastic sunrise safari and a discount on the Wanyama safari and it's a great place to stay.

:thumbsup2 Yes the savanna view is important. You all answered my question perfectly. Thanks!
