Animal Kingdom after hours?

I think this is our best bet for an "after hours" event for many reasons (9pm start time vs. 10pm for Villains is better for my tween, AK is our second favorite park, the date it's available works with our other plans) BUT I have read pretty much only negative reviews of it. Would anyone recommend going?

I enjoyed it overall in February, but was disappointed in the 1 hour wait for FOP. Otherwise it was great.
