Animal Kingdom After Hours Question

I saw a FAQ thread on this event but it didn't have any info on my question -

We are considering doing this event in April, the week before Easter and have a few questions.

The park closes at 8 and the event starts at 9. What do you do in between then?

My main question is this - we haven't been to Disney in 11 yrs. My oldest was 5 and my youngest hasn't been. What will NOT be open for the AH - safaris, Lion King, Nemo, anything else? The safaris is a must for us, esp for my boys. So if we got in right at 7 when they let you in (or possibly earlier), will we still be able to see good on the safari? The time change is in early March. Just wondering what all we will miss in AK if we do this after hours event.

Sunset should be around 7:30 then, so you should be good for safari, provided the line isn't too bad. Basically, all the other rides, except Kali, are open for after hours. The only shows are Swotu Waya (sp?) and Rivers of Light, as far as I know.

We really enjoyed our After Hours in Animal Kingdom, but we were basically there to ride Flight of Passage and Everest over and over again. We did Everest during Rivers of Light so we got glimpses from above. Finished the night with Primeval Whirl, but I don't know what exactly seasonal means for when that will be open.
