We did AK EMH on January 25th and had a blast. We got there at 4:30 -- did River Rapids no line. Probably because it was about 45 degrees out! DS got SOAKED, it was hilarious because he was pointing across the raft at us going hahaha you are going to get wet -- and he had a huge wave wash over him and him only. His sweatshirt was dry and he put on my black cuddl dudz (long johns) until we bought him sweatpants for $26 with Mickey on them that he wouldn't be caught dead in the real world wearing. We then caught some of the parade while hotfooting it over to the safari. Did the gorilla walking trail and came out just as it was closing. Went to dino land and did the "hurl" (that thing is evil), Dinosaur (my kids hadn't been on it since 98 when they were terrified). Oh forgot after the gorilla trail did Lion King show (kids were bored, DD got to be in finale which was fun). We did Tree of Life. The neighbors always had them terrified to go in it. They are 10-12-14 now and loved it. Thought all the screaming crying kids were funny too. We got dinner in Restaurantosaurus about 10 minutes before closing, took our time eating while they cleaned up the place. Moseyed out about 8:50, saw tons of birds roosting in the trees and sleeping animals. Got on an empty bus, we had a blast. That was our best night, I was so glad because the kids hadn't been to AK since our very first trip.
