Animal Crossing Issues...

Yep, my bank interest showed up later in the day. I seem to have patience in all other aspects of life, EXCEPT this game.

We did not try to get to work because of the snow here in NJ.
The good news is: All day AC!!!!!:yay:

Our fountain is now under construction. Time for Lois to move her black rose out of the way.

How do you catch the fleas on the neighbors? Hit 'em with the net?

Which version? in the DS version, you talk to them and if they seem to be acting strange, like saying "scritch" and other strange words instead of their catch phrase, they probably have a flea. And then you try to use the net on them without it creating a conversation......get what I mean?

Not sure how in the AC:CF game cause I am not playing as often as I did when I bought it November 16th.......but I assume the same basic way.

Good Luck.

Lucky you guys!!!!! I pushed Friga into pitfalls yesterday. Then, oops, Rolf wandered into one.

Ribbot - my robot frog - is moving. Hasta la Vista, baby - you don't want to live in my town - go. We all think it's a pretty rocking town, too, so if you don't like it - that's okay - you don't belong!

Can you tell Alice broke my heart when she moved?:lmao:

It's official - I have a 12-step type of problem.

I had a dream the other night that I had a really odd asian style dining room table in my actual house. It was red and yellow and very ornate complete with brick sized seats that you put on the floor (same pattern) which now, come to think of it, are much too small for anyone's bum. Anyway, at some point a bus of asian people came to my house and wanted to buy this table and its matching chairs for a very low price (or so I thought) but I felt that it would be an insult not to accept the offer. So I sold the table and chairs.

Then I woke up in the morning and realized that it must have been flea market day in my dream. This game is getting to me! :scared:

OK... who wants to quit playing the game for a while and start an index for this thread as to the questions and answers that have been posted?!? ;)
(not me)

I'm looking for the section on "Bridges & Fountains". I have been donating 5 or 10 thousand bells each time I play (almost everyday), and no one is offering me a bridge. Am I sopposta have'a receipt or somthin'?!?

HELP!!! :headache:

Ian suggests trying to keep track of what you've donated. A bridge is 500,000 bells. It seems to work out better if you just save up that amount and donate in one lump sum, that way you don't go over. If you go over, those bells are lost! We just paid for a fountain (: (We would be my DH who is in real and fantasy life better at saving money.) I keep investing in turnips - I make money on them, but I don't know how he does it - more time fishing I think....I spend all my time watering and planting flowers.

Thanks,
IT goes... Bridge, fountain, bridge correct?

I want to know too! When I'd use the net on the animal, I'd either be too close and start a conversation or they'd get angry I hit them with the net.

thanks Allison, I forgot about the lighthouse/windmill (it'll be a while till we get one of those).

I think it goes:

Bridge at 200,000 bells
Fountain at 500,000 bells
Windmill or lighthouse at 1,000,000.
(but don't go over!)

Note that once you donate your 200,000 for the bridge, your donation total goes back to 0. So you need to donate another 500,000 bells for the fountain. And then another 1,000,000 for the windmill or lighthouse. Does that make sense?

I donated the full 500,000 for the fountain yesterday so I hope to have some kind of message about it today. Do you get to vote on the location like with the bridge?

Which is better-the windmill or the lighthouse? I think I want to lighthouse.

Okay I had to go in to work for a bit and just got home. My son went with me and now he is begging to go sledding! I said we have an extra 4 hours of prime Animal Crossing time. I seriously need to teach this kid priorities.

After you have donated your full amount of money, the next day go and talk to the white bird in town hall. Click on town fund and then she will give you the spiel about the new town project.

The lighthouse will attract rare fish. And the windmill will attract rare bugs. I am not sure what rare means exactly.

Most people save up their money and then just donate it all at once instead of a little here and there.

No vote for fountain placement. Just a statement the work will begin.

Actually a fountain is 400K bells - I donated a lump sum of $400K a few days ago and Pelly told me that they are in the process of building the new fountain.
I suggest saving all your bells and donating them in a lump sum - then you won't lose track and lose bells!!

Caught a flea off of one of my neighbors last night. When does tick season begin?:rolleyes1
Actually, this is mainly to get the thread higher in the list.
