Animal Crossing Issues...

We got married in 2001, too!!!! Dec 23rd! How ironic is that!!!!

I'll get the book out of the piano bench. Are you on now? I can play after the top of the hour. The girls are happily sucked into Phineas and Ferb.....

Ok call me crazy but when I started to play today the trees look like a lighter shade of green. My boyfriend thinks I am imagining it, so can you guys check when you play on Wednesday.
Thanks

No, Greg's on, and I'm going to bed.
Wow, a Christmas wedding! Did you go on a honeymoon, or wait till after the holidays.

We got married on April 1st - yes, April Fools Day. My second marriage, Greg's first. His Mom was so happy, then was like, you're not fooling, are you? No, we weren't! Ya know the little signs outside the reception room that might say "Lois and Greg Syrek" (or something like that), ours said "Hell has frozen over" everyone was amused (:

How funny - my second, his first, too!

Didn't get a honeymoon. My work wouldn't let me. We got Christmas Eve and then on Christmas Day, he had to fly back to his hometown to bury his mom. She died the day before our wedding. (It was expected. - She had been terminally ill with end stage breast CA for an extremely long time and we went back to say our last goodbyes a couple weeks earlier.)

In case you wanted to play with it, here are the first 18 notes (can only use 16):

D D E G B G G E F B B G F LOWB D LOWB D C

Nope...you are not crazy! My son signed on this morning and said the same thing!! They are there!!! :) Was torture for him to see the Nookingtons there that opens 10 minutes after his bus comes and wouldn't you know it today will not be able to play until around 8pm tonight because he has karate!! Poor guy. Hopefully they have some neat things that I can buy and surprise him when he can sign on!:goodvibes

(thanks for the zip a dee notes - I'll be trying them later). Again, I have to go out and will be home around 9 (ugh). But I'll try to get on then for a short while.

See ya!!

Hey...I just noticed the Animal Crossing Player banners. Is there a site that I can go to to get one?? My son would love that!!! :goodvibes

Lisa - copy the http code off of the one in my sig. Just right slick on it and go to properties. then take the code and insert it into your sig.

I was a little bored and so I decided to rearange my house in accordance with Feng Shui, because it is meant to give you more luck in the game. Once I was done I decided to fish so I went down to the beach and the first fish I catch........

:dance3: A COELACANTH:dance3:

I think Feng Shui works, I am a believer.

Outstanding!!! Congratulations!!! How did you arrange your house?

Here we go again....question about "time". Have you moved your time ahead even just a couple of hours without the same disaster as weeks or months? Since the new Nookington's hours are a little tough, I was wondering if we could change our time to just be 9am so we could shop...

We keep our time an hour behind giving us one more hour to sell at Nooks. I made sure to do it at a time that I didn't have any turnips to rot. We've had no problems, and, as a matter of fact!

Yesterday we got gold watering cans for having a perfect town for 15 days!!!
We each got one - we are so proud (:

Our trees are lighter green too.

Can you please tell me what hours the flea markets are? My son is worried he will not be able to play on Sunday until like 6 and I thought it was from 6am to 6pm.

Thanks!

A few hours should be fine. Part of the premise of the game is that the world continues to exist in real time whether you play or not. If you don't sign on for a few weeks, flowers will wilt and die because you weren't there to water them, and weeds will accumulate because you aren't around to pick them. Setting the clock forward is the same as not playing for that interval, which is why you lost the flowers.

There are no consequences to shifting a couple hours, other than any backwards time travel will spoil turnips.

Sorry - it's been so long since I've posted guys, but that plane crash last week was in suburb of Buffalo, and quite close to my town. Needless to say - things around this part of New York have been a wee bit stressful for the past week. I didn't know anyone that died personally, but non-the-less you can imagine how everyone here has reacted to it.

Thank goodness I had AC to help me get past all the sorrow. :sad2:

So, in keeping with the general topic today - I didn't play for several days, but when I did start up again, I reset the date & time to where I had left off. I did just my general chores - pulling weeds & watering plants. Then I went to the attic and saved the game - then I started it again and reset the day to the next day - once again just doing the "chores". I have now caught up to the present day & time with no ill effects. It was good to see that that worked fine - I can't imagine my DH letting me take the Wii on vacation so I could keep my town up & running...:rotfl2:

Sorry you had a tough week:hug: , I am sure your community was rocked by it. We lost a police officer a couple of weeks ago and it was just devastating to our community.
