Today is a good day in my town! I FINALLY got the golden axe from Serena!

We also got a pink tulip for the first time today! Now if I can only hold on to my perfect town for a few more days...

I was wondering if anyone wanted any of the feathers that you can put in your hair, I have them all and can order more I have the following (from memory):

White Feather
Green Feather
Blue Feather
Red Feather
Rainbow Feather

I got them from my AC:WW game and if you want one I'll order it and you can have it cause I think they are even harder to get in AC:CF?

We added a bunch of friend codes from the first few pages of this thread but still don't get any towns to visit when we go to the gates. Does the other person have to put our code in as their friend also? Any other trick to this I'm missing? Or are we just unlucky in our timing?

You should post who you added that way we can add you. I know I am behind big time. For some reason Real Life is getting in the way.. That and we bought our oldest son Call of Duty so he keeps stealing the Wii from me..

They cost me about 200 bells I think not too sure but I'm happy to give for free, for you to earn them I read you have to save crazy amounts of money.

The only other town my DH will let me visit is our DD's. (he has a deal with security...) So I don't get to go out much . I wish I could, it sounds like it is so much fun... But, like Spongeblair said, you do have to have each others codes and you both have to be on at the same time to allow visitors.

To get other fruit, you can also do what I did, and that is to write the animal friends in your town. I wrote them each every day. I typed their name and the words "friend friend" and that's all. Then I would attach some of my native fruit before sending them. When they wrote me back I would mostly get shirts and fruit in their letters. It didn't take long at all (maybe a week or less) to have all the different fruit including coconuts. I hope it works for you too.

Now I do what someone else on here suggested and type a 3 line letter including my name, their name, my town name and the word friend and I receive carpet, wall paper and furniture.

I know... crazy Real Life is getting in the way of me opening my gates as often as I could! We just got our fountain... I'm scared to try the axe thing though because I don't really know what to do... but from what I've read, she's not very nice and she likes to steal axes!

We must all keep checking for open gates, but not opening our own. I checked a few times today and yesterday for a place to visit. I wanted to see if someone else had better turnip prices than me.

We just put a big bunch together and made sure the correct colors were next to each other. We used the wiki to help us.

Here's our blue pansy!

I picked it up to see what color it was so it didn't grow there, but it did grow two spaces over. Basically, it was diagonal from the white flower on the right.

AHHH I am so excited, I just finished playing AC and found that I had grown my first 2 hybrid plants!!! I got an orange pansy and black roses. Now I have a question: what do I do with them?! Should I sell them? Or do I keep them planted and try to get more? Do they attract other insects if I keep them planted? Right now I put them in my house because I didn't want them to die, haha. Thanks!
