I can't believe that Pave gave me 4 (yes, 4) walls and one closet! Then I had to relinquish the WII remote so DD and DS could play. Unfortunately, everyone including DH is addicted to this game and with 4 of us competing for playing time, no one got more than a couple items. At least we all got a Pave wall ! I'm consoling myself with the thought that I'll be able to stock up on candy on Bunny Day and Halloween so that next time that peacock comes to our town, I'll be ready! I'd love to time travel back a day but everyone has turnips for the stalk market and they'd kill me if I rotted them all.

DS just got AC for his birthday and I'm playing too. I'm trying to figure everything out, so I'm pretty far behind everyone here. I am trying to read through the thread to see what I can learn.

I have one question, though. DS started his city. Can I start a city of my own, or can I only live in his?

You all live in the same city. This is one of the things being complained about because it is unlike the Gameboy version (where we did have seperate cities). DD11, DS3, and I all share and it does cause some problems...dd gets mad when DS chops down trees (he doesn't know any better) I don't like when DD just drops her stuff anywhere because her pockets are full, and DD doesn't like that I am so anal (and admittedly, I am) about what happens in our town. So like others we have set up some rules, only shake x numbers of trees a day, if I get the money rock today, she gets it tomorrow, DS is only allowed to play himself (he likes to play using DD or mines character sometimes... ), etc.

my bf was getting compliments about his costume (weird helmet and a "zappy" outfit. it looks like a space suit) yesterday from the animals, and they were giving him candies!! i'll see if i can dl the pic here on my computer. i have the sd card in the wii.

between my bf and i, we were able to get all the furnitures and we have some doubles and tripples of the same item. we sold when we have of the same, and the rest, we kept. so now, i have a complete set of pave' furniture. we had fun!

this is a crazy thought.. i was thinking of buying another wii console so we can start another town and still keep the one we have now. i would set the new wii in my room and me and my family can visit each other's town. i know, i'm crazy huh? i just don't play online.

We have been playing for a couple of weeks now. We have wii speak, my dd(5.5) and I play together. I have made my own character but never play her. If you add our code, I will add your code today and our kids can play together. It will be fun. We have played with Annika and Keri too.

Good news! If your town works like our town (and I don't know why it wouldn't) everyone gets their own money rock! We found that out by accident one day, now we all get on at least once a day to look for our rock. Digging the holes works great too, except we usually dig the holes in a straight line behind. That way if a centipede or pill bug pops out, we can still move around the rock fast enough to catch it.

same here. every day is a different rock that you have to hit. i believe everyone gets a change to hit a rock cause my bf hit a rock and i hit a rock today, just different rock. digging three holes help me (2 on the sides and 1 behind me) helps me hit the rock without ending up digging a hole. i believe when you constantly hit the rock (fast as you can) without stopping, your chances are getting more bells. today i was able to get 4,100 bells. you can get even more than that. i have yet to get like 12,000 bells. maybe in time the money from the rock will grown??? i don't know.

shake some not bearing fruit trees and fir trees... they have 100 bells each. but be careful.. there will be one or two that will have bees that will sting you. run to the nearest building or houses if you can, if not catch them with the net if you have one.

just go through the whole thread... you will learn some great informations and tons of great advice and tips. thanks to our wonderful AC Dissers here.. they are the best!

I learned I am not psychic. Nor should I try to use logic or reason to something so totally random. I'm torn between time traveling back to Festivale until I get all the Pave set or going ahead in the game. I had just paid off my mortgage but can't get the bigger house or have my trees grow until I move past Monday.
