Thank you Aimee and everyone for being so kind. I am positive that there will be more questions coming in the near future. I notice that every few days that there's new folks joining the community.

The new renovated store is now called Nook 'n' Go. I'm glad to see more variations. I bought the slingshot, but haven't used it yet. Not sure for what. I also bought the ax and already broke it! I chopped too many trees I guess. And this is my update.

Time travel is easy. You just pick a date in time you would like to go to and go to Rover(the cat that checks you in). You have to say you want to do other things, then he will say that is vague and give you the options, one is set the date and time, you pick any day and go there. Remember there are concequences for time travel, so do so at your own risk. I do it all the time

The consequenses are things like weeds in your town, bed head, roaches in your house, and neighbors moving. Everything is fixable. The neighbors get replaced by new neighbors, you can pull the weeds, get your hair fixed by the hair dresser, stomp on the roaches. All of that. Now when I time travel I change the time and the date on the Wii not on the game. I find that the effect on the town isn't as bad that way.

Um...can someone explain this one? I had a snowman built then built a second one a day later next to the first (thought they might talk or something) went about my business, but when I went back by them the second snowman was gone. Can't find it anywhere? Any ideas?

Also about the snowman...DS made one snowman and got a present. DD and I have made a few snowman and haven't gotten anything from a snowman. What is up with that?

The snowmen disappear. In order to receive gifts from the snowman they have to deem themselves as "perfect." I found that if the head is a little smaller than the bottom usually works. I have made four good ones and a couple of ones that I thought looked good but they were insulting when I spoke to them and alas no gift. You know you have built a gift worthy one when they praise you when you talk to them.

When you go to the post office you can mail to "your future self" It will not say your name. Ask all the questions you would like, we are all here to help each other!

I agree. Trust me I would be lost without this place I was coming on today to ask about the snowman and it was already answered.. BTW I built my first snowman today and he told me that he didn't have any feet

I talk to them whenever I walk by, the just repeat the same thing time after time. However, I did have something in my mailbox from the one I made yesterday that disappeared 10 minutes later.

Maybe I build them to big...I like when they are bigger then the houses.

I think so.. I have everyone here that have posted codes added as a friend but only 3 hearts and i think when they are online the heart fills in.. But i'm just guessing..

That could be it. I just make them what I think would be normal snowman size for a little Animala Crossing person. Has anyone built a snowball and put it in front of the bus stop and then requested the bus? It's pretty funny when you do.

With the Snowman, if he's perfect at first then you'll get something in the mail from him a day or so later. It doesn't matter how much you talk to them. They melt over the next few days until they go away, but since the proportions stay the same it won't make an imperfect snowman become perfect. I have heard that some people on other forums have also had snowmen just disappear - the theory seems to be that they are too close to something else. And of course if you hit or push on a snowman too much you can accidentally destroy him.

When you add a friend code, if they add you also then there will be a hollow heart next to their name. After you have successfully connected once (by one of you going to the other's town) then the heart will fill in. The only way you can tell if someone is online is by seeing if their gate is open, but if the gate is not open then they won't show up on the list.

*Fantasia* - the slingshot is for shooting down the presents that float by in the sky. You use the slingshot to pop the balloon holding the present and then it will fall. After you shoot down 8 of them, three balloons will float by carrying a golden slingshot. You can tell when a present is near because you'll hear a wind noise. You can look up by pressing up on the directional pad on the remote, and then once you find the present you move under it and shoot the slingshot by pressing A.

Unfortunately, we don't even have enough snow left in our town to build a snowman. Does anyone know, if I time travel to say, June, then time travel back to January, will the snow come back? Conversely, how long would we have to stop playing the game to let the snow come back on its own?

You would have thought someone would have picked up this glitch in their testing phase

Our snow if pretty much gone too. I read online somewhere that even if it snows more, it doesn't come back so I assume not playing won't help either. I'm not sure about the time travel.

Our snow is gone too... it makes me sad.. I don't know about the time travel thing either, I'm too much of a chicken to try it!

I am having a very difficult time catching an extra large fish in the sea. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to catch that big guy?? I have seen him about 20 times now and can't seem to catch him! Very frustrating!!
Also, I have caught a Tuna, is that him and I have only managed to catch him once? I have no idea. Every time I see the extra large shadow in the sea I get excited, then can't land him. Any help would be appreciated!
