I played a while tonight and no one was around. Maybe some of you were doing the things I should be doing like cleaning house

I was on and opened my gate about 9ish. Stayed on for about an hour then since I started the wii fit the other day I was so sore I quit and went to bed.

I will second that one. I do about 15 minutes a day to calm down after the aerobic work out.. My balance sucks and it lets me know it.

DS has got his wee guy and his friend code ,but as he's not at school just now he's got no friends.

So has just been dodging about his town trying to get money to pay his mortgage...picking pears and shells and selling them to some guy named Tom !!

Is this right ?

He has ran out of pears so what now ?

Is there more to do than pick pears ?

I get the feelin this game will open up more when he gets some friends.

Talk to your neighbors. Sometimes they ask you to do them a favor and in return, they sometimes give you bells and sometimes they give you items.

You can hit a rock (you would have to see which rock that is.. everyday the money rock is in the different spot) with your shovel.

See if you can spot gold stars on the ground. Dig them up. It might be a gyroids (fire hydrant looking) or a fossil. You can sell them to Tom. Fossil, you have to check them in first at the museum. The gyroids.. if you complete a set of the same family.. it will make a tune in your house if you display them in your house.

You can catch bugs and butterflies with your bug net. You can fish with your fish pole. All the equipments you need, Tom sells them.

Shake the non-bearing fruit trees. They give out 100 bells. Some trees give out items (it's in a form of a leave when it drops on the ground).

Balloons.. shoot them if you see them with your slingshot. It will drop and there's a present attached. You can sell that item at Tom's.

I'm in CA, so Pacific Time zone. This week was good for me since my kids were home on spring break. I'm a lazy Wiier, I play when the kids start it up for me I'd say mostly after they are home from school, 4pm my time. We'll be gone tomorrow, but maybe we can shoot for a Friday date

I had Animal Crossing on Gamecube years ago. I've been tempted to buy a Wii for a bit now.. this Animal Crossing thread doesn't help me squash that desire at all.

He can tell the owl that he wants to keep the fossil. I do that when starting to make more money. Then later, once he's not so worried about money, he can donate to the museum.

Also, he can collect a small amount of money by collecting sea shells and selling them to Tom Nook.

If he finds a coconut by the water, have him plant it near the beach. Non-native fruits (the one not originally in the town) pays $500 bells each versus $100 each for native fruit. Every 3 days, the tree will spring new fruit. At first, I recommend selling half of the non-native fruit and burying the other half to get lots of non-native trees (for lots of bells.)

ETA: Spongeblair is located in Scotland, so you'll have a friend nearby.

The other day I got the golden slingshot and the silver watering can! I know with the golden slingshot you can shoot 3 pellets at once but how is the silver watering can any different?

I am also really excited because I finally got an orange from one of my neighbors! I got an apple too, that tree is starting to grow, woo hoo!! Just had to share, I am easily excited playing AC.

The silver watering can can bring back a wilted red turnip. Plus, it has a larger watering radius than the regular can. It waters all 8 spaces around the area you water.
