Where can we find an Angel tree? Our school has asked for contributions but we do not have the option to sponsor a child. DDs both said they would like to take money from their own Christmas budgets to sponsor a child of their age (9 and 11). DD11 also asked to sponsor a toddler girl but I encouraged her to choose a teenager. Everyone has told me that the teenagers tend to receive less help.
I just picture kids getting up Christmas morning and hating what they got.I think I am making this so much harder than it is suppose to be. I love to give gifts I just always want them to be just right.
So far we for DD12 angle kid a girl age 12 we got an outfit at Areopostal and a CD player (My daughter picked out skinny jeans because that is what she likes but I am second guessing that because I hate them).
For my DD9 angle kid a girl age 7 we got roller blades- havent picked out an outfit yet.
My angle kid a girl age 4 we got Baby Alive and a V-tech learning labtop I still have to get an outfit
DHs angle kid is a boy age 9 He wants a remote control car and walkie talkies we haven't got them yet but will.
I think the clothes part is very challenging because I do not know what their favorit color is or if they have one the hate. I think I am letting it stress me out when I thought it would just be funI just picture kids getting up Christmas morning and hating what they got.
My company is doing an angel tree this year and some of the tags say clothes while others say toys. Only 13 out of 113 say clothes. I got a 5 year old girl and 5 year old boy that both say toys so since they did not give clothes sizes I really can't get clothes. I would love to be able to do both.
That's a great idea. Thanks!you could do mittens, gloves, scarf, socks, bathrobe-things that don't have to fit exactly perfect. Those would probably be needed items as well.
I wonder if it is 7/8 in juniors instead of kids. I picked a 12 year old size 5 I got junior size clothes for her. That is a hard one though but 7/8 for an 11 year old is awfully small.
