Morning Everyone and their Derry airs!

Gail - I hope you solve the water problem. Yesterday morning, I went down in the basement and found water starting to form on the carpet. I moved all the kids stuff to the middle of the room and picked up some of the carpet. Fortunately, I only had to mop a little during the day and now it's fine.

I guess I missed all the poopie talk yesterday. Too bad.

Yippee - I brought my laptop to Piratefest and now LK and I can DIS here! Always thinking!

Congrats on your Euchre win! How did your crab dip turn out?

E - I still haven't seen ROTK. Since school was cancelled yesterday, I was going to take the kids during the afternoon. Leah said she didn't want to see it, so we didn't go. Give her a couple of years, and I'm sure she'd change her mind!

Yuck moment of the day - the kids were going to get a game under the couch. When they pulled it out, we discovered tons of dog food in piles under the couch. Looks like we have a mouse loose somewhere. I am trying to be as LOUD as possible as I move around today!

Lorraine - how are the crowds so far? Lenny said the food was terrible yesterday. He also said we aren't allowed to take the drinks out of the break room to our booths because the break room has Pepsi products and the facility uses Coke products. How dumb is that!

LK - so far the bagels were good. I'm anxious to see how the rest is. I'm talking Mark into going to Primanti's for dinner for us. I put a bottled water in my computer bag to make it easier to carry down here not knowing about that. I had a hard time getting in the place though. Lenny probably told you, but enter down the side along the river.

Hi everyone. I don't have time to respond to all that's been said. I did catch up by reading the pages though.

I've been to the local Boy Scout garage sale this morning. I found a new tank top for Amy and a couple of CDs. I'm home to do a few things and then I'm headed to Oklahoma City for a DIS meet. We haven't had a meet for a couple of years in Oklahoma, so I'm excited about it.

Then tonight we are having my FIL's birthday party, so we'll run home to put out the dogs and head back to the city for that. It's shaping up to be a busy day.

By the way, did I mention that I got my cruise documents? Well, when we got around to reading them we found out they have put the 4 of us in a room that appears to sleep 3. Hmmmm. Allen's on the phone trying to work that out right now. We may have to sleep in shifts.

Stay warm (or dry in Gail's case).

Gail, we always have a mix of current players, alumni players, and sometimes the up and coming kids in the minor leagues. It's a nice event. This year we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Pirates' World Series win in 1979. Gosh, it was that long ago that we've won? I guess I shouldn't complain - other teams have waited longer.

MP - what category do you usually book? I was looking at Cat 10, but then I noticed it said "only sleeps 3". I guess we'll move down to a Cat 11.

Just shoveled the driveway. Luckily it was a nice light snow. We've gotten about an inch of snow since last night.

Quiet day around here.

I have been running the washer and dryer all day. Went out and did a few errands. Nothing exciting. Did get some mail from Gail though. Good reading.

Better start some dinner.

It appears I have ALOT of catching up to do...several pages worth anyway. This is the first I've had a chance to jump on today. I am feeling better today. I finally reached the doctors office and the receptionist actually said "I'll leave him a message and see if you should continue taking the medicine." I replied"I have a feeling he will give me something else. I don't think breaking out in hives is a good thing." The Benedryl knocked me on my butt yesterday. I was in bed really early and didn't get up until almost 10am today!! (Really late getting up for me) I decided to redo the pantry closet today and found one of the cats had decided my box I keep my plastic bags in was a litter box!!UGHHH!!! SO VERY GROSS!!! (Still repeating "I love my cats..I love my cats") At least most of my groceries were still on the kitchen table becuase I hadn't put anything away since I was reorganizing it. On the positive side I was forced to throw out the candy stored in there Just the thought..yuck!Well I better go figure out dinner. Nick is spending the night at g-ma and g-pa's so it is just Rick and me tonight.

We're hoping to sit down shortly and watch Jaws. DH got me the dvd for Christmas. I still remember seeing it at the movies when it was first released.....and then being very nervous swimming in the ocean that summer!
