Elaine, I gotta tell you, when I got home from doing my few errands, the pooches wanted out. I took them with out gloves, hat, or ear muffs. Or jacket, it was that warm. SO yes, I am adjusting quite well. As far as the spagetti goes, I think it will be fine, do the sauce overnight and it will be very tasty. The noodles will stick unless you put something on them, Lorraine is right. Butter is good, but Olive Oil will give them some extra flavor. Oh, and I salt the water really well, I like the noodles to have that flavor when they are done. Kosher salt only!

Gail, what is the great news?

Alan, I love Porky. We used to tease Max about the Waskly Wabbits in the back yard in AZ. He recognizes those words!

I must be bored, I just map quested directions to Gail's and Stephanie's houses. I want to be ready for the thaw!

One more day and I get to sign the sales contract on my new house. I have already started planning what decor is going on what walls.

I thought it was Porky Pig!!! See what happens when you don't pay attention to anything as much as Disney? And before you all chastise me, I don't think Porky or Elmer are Disney cartoons. At least they weren't the last time I checked!

What's for dinner? This is too funny - I am making PORK chops! Baked apples form Stouffers, Baked potatoes with sour cream, shredded cheese, butter, and bacon cheddar almonds, and maybe corn. If not corn, some other hot veggie.

Hey crock pot queens... I am making spaghetti for our group at work tomorrow...

AHEM........(shuffling papers and adjusting paper clips within reach)........I don't know about the crock-pot thing but I do know you can cook the pasta tonight, let it cool, put it in a ziplock bag and tomorrow when you get to work, run some warm water over it and you will be good to go........

E, the spaghetti will be great! Fix it tonight and butter or oil it. Add it back in the morning or even just a little before you plan to eat if you run hot water over the bag first to warm it up.

Marsha and Alan, you had me rolling! I like Elmer, too. I'll never forget one year when I was a counselor at church camp. Several of the kids were cutting up during a service. One of the other counselors sternly whispered, "Be vewy, vewy quiet. We are pwaying." The way she said it gave me the snickers and I had a terrible time behaving. I was NOT a good example!

Okay Gail. I have to go to Scouts in a few minutes. Don't make me wait until tonight to get the news! Hurry up and get on the computer!
