Angels game and Disneyland crowds

Hi! - Since Angels stadium is so close to the Disney Resort, are the crowds at Disneyland greater when there's a game in town? During the week in July I'm considering, there are 4 consecutive days of games at Angel Stadium, so I'm thinking that a lot of those fans might go to Disney before or after the game.

Anyone have knowledge about how Angel Baseball games effect Disneyland attendance?

I'm kind of chuckling reading this ;) Um... how do I put this... you have no need to worry ;)

July will be busy at Disneyland, but it won't be because of Angels' games. It might be the reverse, in that a few people that are going to Disneyland anyway might head over to a game for fun one day, but people aren't flocking to Anaheim from out of town to go to baseball games, therefore a game is not bringing any extra people to Disneyland.

Thanks, SonnyJane!

I think I'm just so concerned about the crowds with Carsland opening, that some regional AP'ers will say, "hey, let's go check out Carsland while we're down here!"

I do appreciate your postive answer!!!:yay:

So, I just booked the first week in July - I'm also hoping the 4th of July will not be too bad! At least all AP's except for Premium are blocked that day!

I see it the opposite. I get scared for days when any APs are blocked, b/c they block them in order to lower the "extra" people, because they are expecting so many ticketed-people!

I heard July 4th was not bad at all last year.

As sonnyjane said, Angel games won't affect Disneyland crowds at all.

Your question made me think of something. One night I was at DCA and the fireworks are supposed to go off at 9:30 and I start hearing fireworks go off out in the distance several minutes before the scheduled time. I Looked at my watch and wondered if Disney jumped the gun. Nope, it was fireworks night at Angel Stadium. Literally seconds after the Angel's fireworks finished the Disneyland fireworks started. The stadium is several miles away, so you couldn't see much but that night I got 2 shows in 1 night!
