Hi Guys!

Meg went to a movie...............Matthew is at band camp.....Dylan is with my brother at the baseball game..........DH & I were by ourselves That never happens!!! We went out to Chili's for dinner & margaritas & while we were there DH's best friend called & he & his wife joined us.....we had a good time

Now we're either gonna watch a movie or DH's gonna watch the Olympics & I'll read my book

Sounds like a nice night Lars. I'd fall asleep after margaritas. Lew & I took a walk at the track earlier. It gets dark so soon these days....another sign that summer is ending.

E - Dublin startes on Monday. My best friend teaches there and I just got off the phone with her. She has been working in her classroom this week getting ready.

My FIL stopped by tonight. Evidently he had an aweful scare when he was visiting his step-daughter at the hospital last night. He got in the elevator and it fell!!!! He had to call for help and the operator was not very helpful. Eventually they figured out which one he was in and they had to rescue him. He was pretty shook up. It takes alot to get him scared and he said this was very traumatic for him.

My grandma is going to a day program in the morning. This will be her first day. The place is like a 5 star hotel according to my parents. Grandma will be going 3x a week. This will be a great break for my mom!! We are looking forward to doing some things with my son and nephew the next couple days before my nephew goes back to school.

I guess I better get ready for bed. It's getting late. I still haven't heard if I got the job yet. I'm considering trying to find some kids to babysit so I don't have to work outside the home. We'll see what happens.

Having a hard time getting in here as well!

Interesting Carolyn, I knew they used to always start after Labor Day... wonder when that changed. I only get to hear of school startings due to my friends at work at this point. Except for changes in traffic, it doesn't really affect me anymore

Lars, that sounds like a wonderful night. I hope you enjoy it

Getting ready for work tomorrow... wish I could just skip it, sleep in and enjoy the hair cut later in teh day

Phoned Disney and paid off the balance of my trip this evening.

Next step is to get the suitcase out and start throwing stuff in it. Suitcase will come out sometime the beginning of October. Won't be like Lou and wait to the day before and pack.
Should go over the guides and tentatively plan the days (what park what day)

not sure who's old though... you're still a spring chicken and I thought I was the baby of the group... oh never mind, that made it all worse...

p.p.s do your kids change classes evey year? at the boys school, and others near by, you change teacher and classroom but the children stay the same.

First day of school for Brendan. I'm thrilled he has a great teacher this year, and I think he'll have a wonderful time in 2nd grade. I know about 7 kids already that are in his class and can't wait to see the class list.
