The LK's are driving down. They left around 7 this morning, and were supposed to drive down as far as Brunswick, GA today. The path of the hurricane looks like it will be the way they are coming down - I hope they get to the hotel o.k.

Star - those are beautiful pictures. i'm not much of a winter sports person. give me the lodge anytime.

Alan - what a nice time for Mrs. AA and your DD. i'd love to get a day at the spa for my b'day.

Hope Donna and Sue are making the best of it. Still haven't called me yet.

Made it to the library today and to the shoe store to get Shannon new shoes for school. The kids wanted to come home, so I guess going to Kohl's is put on hold until tomorrow.

LOL, Marsha had a similar idea as I did, but I didn't bother to upload to a new place like yours

Bethany if you use AOL for future, just use the HTML code

and use < before img
use > after the web location. That way you don't have to find a new site. If that doesn't make sense let me know... unfortunately if I try to type it out mroe, it will all disappear due to how HTML works

Donna WDW update

She just called & said that everyone there seems to be going into panic mode.......they've moved the campers into the POR.....RVs in the parking lot....campers in the lobby.......the food court is crazy....they went to Epcot today afterall-they were letting in anyone with a hopper w/o taking the day off the ticket....................they were heading to the pool to ahve a 'Waiting for Charley party'........she said "Tell everyone to pray that we make it through this ok"...................

Yikes! Charlie seems to headed right for Donna and Sue. Hope they find a way to have fun and stay safe.

E, I have to admit I've never had a pedicure or a manicure! I keep my nails cut very short and I paint them myself.

Marsha, I've been to Winter Park. I'll have to go see him some time. Love the sunset. Amy's favorite color is pink. When my grandmother passed away Amy was small and she always said sunsets like that one were sent to her by her Nanny. I always think of Nanny when I see a pink sky.

Star, you are making me want to head for the mountains. Pretty pictures.

I haven't heard from my mom in over 24 hours. I can't call them because I'm sure they are at the hospital and I forgot to ask which one. So I'm waiting and waiting.

Merry, I've never had a manicure either.... I keep my nails long but never polished. My toes are polished always (quirk of mine) but always by myself. Maybe some day I'll go for it

I pray that all the Angels down in Orlando and going there will be safe... that and the people from the area too.
Good news for us, is that we are 2nd on the list of people to call so if some disaster happens we at least won't be the first to call in and help the techs find ways to reroute calls so none are dropped or lost.

Sending up a prayer for all the Angels in WDW and travelling to WDW. Lou's got a friend with a flight out tomorrow for WDW, hope everything goes well.

If Donna and Sue keep drinking Charley might come and go without them noticing........................

Years and years of practice... and getting into silly rapid fire posts with wonderful friends that make other people wonder what you've been drinking.

I just got my first call from Donna. She said everything that Lars posted earlier. They got bottles of wine for tonight, but they decided to start early. The kids are having fun going to the ice machine. Sue is happy since she found some food to buy - $6 chipped ham sandwiches! Sue's not happy that they locked the laundry room - don't know why she needs to sneak off to do laundry! Donna also said that the CM's weren't too happy that they had to be there today - it was not a Disney day as Donna put it. She also said that her and Sue's DH have been moving their cars all over the parking lot trying to find the best location.

Sounds like the guys are playing Test Track in the parking lot while the Angels are having their own Food & Whine Festival. I just want to know who Charlie is and if anyone told him about all of the PMs he'll be getting now that he met Donna.
