E...I always buy new underwear and socks before vacations. I dont think I will bother for this Texas trip since I just bought for the WDW trip in March. I have heard of people that always bring their oldest stuff when they travel....they just throw it away at the end of the day and not bring it back home.
Cute story about intorducing a new kitten....originally I had 2 cats that were brothers from the same litter. One of them was never really healthy and at about age 6 I had to have him put down. Obviously, his brother seemed a little lost without him around. After about 6 months we got a new kitten. We bring the kitten (Rebel) home and Inky was not thrilled, but not screaming mad either. THere was some hissing and a lot of hiding. A few days later I went to work and when I got home Inky was sitting in front of the refrigerator crying. I opent he fridge and Rebel is stiing there on the bottom shelf just looking at me like 'Its about time you let me out of here". As soon as he was out Inky was all over him. From that point on they were inseperable. Oh...I think Rebel snuck in the fridge when I was grabbing my lunch before work. He was in there for about 6 hours, and was not harmed in any way. I am not advocating refrigerating your kittens to get the resident cat to like them, LOL
Gaspode...the new babies look a lot like my old cat Inky. He was a great cat.
I have to do some banking this morning, possibly go buy a new cell phone and get to work by about noon.

More back to school shopping last night and a quick check in this morning.
Cinnamon rolls and bacon are cooking and we are headed to the museum next to our zoo when we are done. It's a wildlife museum with exhibits the kids can touch.

Rainy day here today. Did you send it our way E? DH is out golfing all day, and we've seen every movie out there for kids, so i'm not sure what we are going to do today. Shannon didn't get enough sleep and is pretty crabby already.

It has been raining non-stop since 9 this morning. 
We spent the day getting Lenny and Logan ready for Boy Scout camp. They leave tomorrow morning. I have a feeling they are in for a rainy week.
We watched Mulan this afternoon. I haven't seen that in a long time. I just love Mushu!

Steph, you'll be so proud of Logan - he had a fantastic time at the races last night with Sue's DH and DS! He told me all about the kinds of cars racing, what the colors of the flags meant, what the track looked like, etc. One thing I don't understand though. Even though they went at night, I could swear that the back of his neck is turning red ! Can you explain that to me???
