Short work week here. Tomorrow is my last day this week (and I need to laeave early for a dental appointment). Off Thursday for Canada Day. Doing the parade, BBQ and fireworks. Did not want to go back to work on Friday so I book off as a vacation day. Half the office has booked Friday off as well.

My husband just did a stupid thing. he's outside helping with the weeding and removal of bushes and plants we don't like (finally almost 3 years later ) and I told him that with one of the bushes, he should borrow my dad's chainsaw. His response... the one thing that grates on my ears

He's dead

Not sure what I am going to yet

But he is so dead

He is going away this weekend... wonder if he'll appreciate something new in the house

And tomorrow when I hear him whining because his back hurts or something, remind me not to be too sympathetic.

I noticed she was doing that... I guess I need to high tail it out to Gail's if I want to get in her suitcase in time.

And finally.....ever drive on the highway and have someone blaze by you at about 90 MPH and you say to yourself where is a cop when you need one? He was there today. Took him 4 exits to catch the guy but he did. First time I ever saw that happen. Boy did that feel good!
