So Marsha would hate me if I did this???

:wave2:

Just joking... actually I reallyw ant to try to catch up but I spent nearly 2 hours at Sears picking out a new Range and Dishwasher. Ours aren't dead yet, but I don't trust that they will last much longer. The oven doesn't even have a window OR a timer and the dishwasher takes 2 loads to get things clean. So I will be very happy come this weekend!

Meliss, not a wild child ;)

Sue, I'll add you on AIM :)

Marsha, a slow cooker & a crock pot are different to me too

Carol, dinner sounds great and only four weeks? That's great!

Carolyn, I was looking at rates for WDW for May (possibly) and they are outrageous right now! The rate I had for LAX in July was up $70!!!!

Hi Brian!

Gail, kick him off the computer so you can play... who cares about homework ;)

Okay I gotta get on my bike and find dinner... have a great evening all :)

I didn't know LK was on Broadway!

We're home from dinner. Just checking in briefly before moving on to some evening chores. I'm still hoping to get help washing the dogs tonight.

David's cold is getting better. He's still a little wheezy and coughing, but I'm a believer in Zicam. That's good stuff. I'm even taking some with us in case someone else gets sick.

I'll check back before bed or sooner if I have a minute.

Alan, you are a true southerner, if it ain't mushy, it ain't dinner.

Yup, but remember that dinner is lunch and the night meal is supper!

Oh sure, LK is the darling of the stage and I'm still trying to make it by auditioning for a Japanese television program that recreates American crime stories.

Last night in Selma as a matter of fact....still waiting to see if I get a callback but it doesn't look like it.

hey all, sorry I couldnt stay and play in caht, but I have to earn my free AOL somehow. I host scrapping chats twice a week, Tuesday and Sunday nights.

Can any of you help me here

Have a good evening, see ya in the morning

think I can ask for some PD for DBF? He's having major problems with his mother and he's living with friends for now but I still worry

Actually, midday meal is lunch and night meal is tea!! LOL, it's a Yorkshire thing, right Cami?

CS - Hope your DBF sorts things out soon, I can't blame you for worrying!

Well, speak to you all later, have a good morning!

Morning All!

Bethany - I'm sorry I can't help you out w/ the Dream Catcher info. Hopefully you will get some info before you leave.

CS - PD for your DBF.

Going to work today since my DD and I, along w/ SIL and MIL are going to a brunch tomorrow where they crown Miss Smiling Irish Eyes for the parade. Funny story - I took DD out to buy a dress for the brunch and she insisted on buying an orange top and skirt - she thinks she looks lovely (which she does). The only problem is that wearing orange on anything to do w/ the Irish is a BIG no no. DH and the IL's were trying everything to bribe her to get a green dress. After much talking to, she will be wearing a green dress that my neighbor lent to her. Everyone was laughing about it.

LOL, LK a star??? :rotfl:
:p

Ack that whole dinner/lunch/supper thing... my grandparents say dinner and supper and my mom always said lunch and dinner... my dad was very confused

Bethany good luck with your search... I have no clue about any of that... a friend of mine was big into it, but I wouldn't have a clue where you could find one. You could always ask at AK about the icon to see if they have something similar.

CS, wishing your DBF all the best.

:wave2: Hi Melissa... now I am really confused... I thought tea was in the afternoon :faint: ;)

SB, that is too funny about your DD and the orange dress!!!! Glad you were able to find her a green one in time :)

Slow morning here.... I hope the day flies though. Tonight I have my Clay concert so I am really looking forward to that :)

Judging from her pic in your sig I'd say she has a chance of winning Miss Smiling Irish Eyes. :D

Good Morning!

Gaspode, you know my DD lives in Philly, so I've stayed in a number of hotels in the city. What's the name of the one on the Historic Waterfront? Will this be your first trip there?
I went in September with DS and we did some sight seeing. The Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross's house, and a carriage ride thru the city.
Try "The Reading Terminal Market" for Lunch, it's huge and you can have your choice of cuisine. Mexican, chinese, italian, american, etc. Also, make sure you have an Authentic Philly Cheese Steak while you are there!

CS, Hope everything works out for your DBF:hug:

The bridesmaids invited me to a get together to discuss the shower last night. I offered to make some dishes for them and helped them with some ideas. I got home just in time to see the tail end of AI. I liked #8.

Wow MP, you're almost gone!!

Have a good Day!

Morning Everyone!
Busy day today, will try to pop back in later!

:wave2:

Hiya again!

E - Sorry to confuse you LOL, I think I confuse most ppl with that one tho!

Sandi - Thanks for the info, we've never been to PA before, but since the flight stopped there for a few hours I convinced DBF we should stay a day or so (and meet some Angels) and explore a new city/state!

Unfortunately, on Hotwire, they don't tell you the names of the hotels before you book. But we did this for a few nights in FL last year and ended up at the Radission at the USF/IOA entrance and it was great!

Is the Historic Waterfront a nice place to stay? It's a four star hotel with pool and many other features for $53 a night so it sounds good to me so far!!

Cya,
Gaspode

Good morning friends.

Melissa, I hope you/we can figure aou a time for a mini-meet in Philadelphia. I think I could make it if the date works out.

It is snowing here. Just a light wet snow, not sticking to anything, but snowing for the first time in a while.

I am surrounded by mountains of clean clothes that need ironing before I pack them. I hate ironing, but maybe if I crank up the Disney music or Jimmy Buffet I can get through this with a smile. :teeth:
