Angelrose's Journey

Hey Mary! I'm sure you will start loosing weight again soon.

Your poor car is just having all kinds of problems lately. I wish we lived closer so Larry could work on it for you.

I bet you will have a wonderful time babysitting both of them together.

Our little foster baby, Zoe, got fixed today. They called me when she went into surgery to tell me she had 2 teeth that hadn't come in. They suggested we have them removed so she doesn't get an infection from them later. So she come home fixed & missing 2 teeth. Poor baby!

My poor car is a 95 Caddy Sedan Deville. It has been a great car, but as old as it is, things do break down. I'm just glad it wasn't more expensive to fix.

Oh, I hope you sweet little Zoe feels better soon. Poor little doggie and bless you for fostering her.

Good morning! :surfweb:

Angel, that .8 was probably just water weight. The idea of swimming in a pool sounds heavenly right now - it's 43 degrees and raining again :sad2:

Good evening snappyd. Boy did we have a thunderstorm last night. My satellite tv went out for 10 minutes while the storm was going full blast. That is very unusual. Luckily I got all but the last few seconds of two shows that I was recording.

I went out this morning and indulged myself by getting another pair of crops and two pair of sandals. I've got to stop buying clothes.

I hope I've lost something this week. Tomorrow is weigh in. You know, I love those meetings. We have so much fun and lots of laughs. I don't know if all the leaders do this, but at the end of every meeting she says, "I hope to see less of you next week." For some reason that tickles me.

Hope the car is done messing up for a long time.

Thank you. Poor little Zoe snuggled on me all evening and of course all night. She is my snuggle buddy.

Have you decided on your trip dates yet for next year?

I can just picture your little Zoe cuddling up with you. AWWWWWWW so cute.

My car is doing well now. I gave it a stern talking to and it may take heed. LOL

No, Karen hasn't done anything yet. I think she is waiting until the summer. I keep bugging her to get started. I even gave her a January/February 2012 calender to "help" her get started. She is very busy at work right now and when she gets home she has teething Zoey and 3 year old Jesse wanting all of mommy's attention, to deal with. She is also going to a gym to start getting into shape. I can understand why she hasn't gotten into the planning yet.

But that won't stop me from asking her when I see her at Easter. :goodvibes

Poor Karen. I bet she is so tired.

I need to get a picture of Zoe on here and of Cosmo, our adopted daughter. Did I ever share pictures of Shiny, our pit bull rescue? He has discovered the laundry basket. He likes to sleep in there. He's weird! But I love them all!

Tomorrow I hit the single digits for my trip!

Oh I want to see pictures of your furries.

Chuck called me this afternoon to see if I wanted to join them for a walk around Smithville and have dinner there. WAHHHHHHHHH! Tonight was my weigh in and I just can't miss any meetings. I did lose 2.2 this week. So that made me feel better.

Chuck said now that the weather is nice, they will be doing that more often so I will have plenty of chances to be with them. Any night but Thursday!

I have between 25 and 30 pounds to go to make my goal weight. I was hoping to lose 50 by the time of our next dinner with my cousins, but since the dinner is next month I don't see how I can lose 6 pounds by then. Oh well, you never know. I may just do it.

Congrats on the single digits! I know you will have a wonderful time.

You are doing an amazing job! I'm so proud of you and happy for you! You CAN DO IT!!!

Last night after I went to bed I thought that I should have told you I have some pictures of them on my Facebook page. If you can't find them there let me know & I'll post them here.

Thank you Michelle. I did see the picture of your kitty and one dog on your facebook page. But if you have more, post them here.

Trying to see if I can post them here now.

This is my baby girl, Auggie. I've had her since 2002. She was adopted from a high-kills shelter.

This is Luna. We adopted her in 2008. Her & her brothers and sisters were left to fend for themselves after a coyote killed their mom. She is still skiddish but has come such a long way since we brought her home.

This is Cosmo. She sort of adopted me. In January she was at our adoption event. One of the girls was working with her because she was so shy. Well Cosmo kept getting loose from her and would end up right on my feet. We fostered her for 2 weeks then decided to adopt her.

Auggie & Galaxy snuggling. Galaxy is the cat with the pink boa-ish thing on him in my FB profile picture. Galaxy I had to adopt for Auggie. I had taken in an abandoned kitty that died about 6 months later. After Kelly died Auggie was grieving herself so bad she was getting physically ill. The vet suggested that I adopt a new kitty for her. So she and I went and picked out Galaxy, saving him from the shelter - where he was headed. We picked out the solid black one because my first cat, Godzilla, was solid black.

This is Zoe, our foster baby. She didn't get adopted today. This day she ate chocolate and other candy and had a tummy ache. She snuggled up with the blankie and slept.

OMG the are so cute. I love the way they snuggle together. You have a great collection of fur babies. Congrats on saving so many from the shelters.

Here is Cosmo again. She is with Storm in this picture. We are fostering Storm for a friend's daughter until she can move back into another home allowing pets.

This is Shiny Boy, our pit bull rescue. When he & Zoe get adopted I'm going to cry so hard.

When we found him he was about 20 lbs, now he is at 42. He is the one we found last fall that our neighbors had left behind and had not fed in some time. When we found him it was the day after they moved out. So, he had been neglected for some time. When we found him he wanted attention and love more than food! He is such a loving boy!

He has been attacked twice now but smaller dogs but he wouldn't hurt them, just did his best to fend them off. He ended up wounded both times but the others were fine. He is very protective of his mommy! If Larry isn't home he lets people know to stay away!

Thank you! Right now we have 4 dogs and 3 cats. :rolleyes1 Two dogs are ours and so are 2 cats. Who knows if Shiny & Zoe will get adopted. I love them so dang much!

They are all rescues in one way or another. Poor Zoe was left out in the woods. She is rotten! She says I'm her mommy. At the adoption event today every time I left the room she would whine for me. **sigh**

They are all adorable. You are such a wonderful person to foster these lovely animals. Thank you from an animal lover.
