The day before we go 29th March 2008

I have finally manged to convince my Mum, brother and sister to come to disneyland with me. This will be my third trip and it will be very special for 2 reasons.

It will be my youngest daughters 7th birthday and it will be the 1st time me, my mum, brother and sister have been together on holiday since we were children.

DH is unable to go because of work committments but has agreed we can visit again for my bithday at the end of May.

All day yesterday was spent packing and trying to keep two very excited daughters calm although my own enthusiasm was barely contained. DS 4m watched in amusement  as half his belongings were packed and unpacked and some repacked as realised most were not really needed and some things such as sterilisers and changing mats, nappies and baby wipes would be needed in the morning and could be repacked then.

So with enough clothes to last everyone a month the cases were finally closed. Some last minute printing of the disney activity books for DD's I had found on the fabulous DIS boards for the flight and we were nearly set to go. I also put the finishing touches to the Birthday T-Shirt I had made for my daughter as a surprise. After 5 hours of packing and unpacking I finally fell into bed at 10pm and set the alarm for 7am.

looks like you will be up and gone now, looking forward to hearing the details on your return.

I think all of us parents can identify with this! :lmao:

Looking forward to the rest. :)

My DS's are 8 and 14 and have the same opinions:lmao: I HATE getting ready for holiday - always start wondering if its worth it (even Disney!!)
