Angela & Matthew - Home Wedding 4/25/2009 & Disneymoon - I'm MARRIED!!!!

Yay for your wedding and Disney next month! :goodvibes

On the make up note... I agree with everyone above that you do look beautiful in your post. I also understand that it is not what you expected. Even though you look beautiful in the picture, just looking at it from a make up stand point ... I would not have paid someone to do that make up. :confused3 Honest opinion. That is sooooo something you could do yourself or even one of your friends could do I bet. I vote for looking around! Definately speak up and let them know what you want and expect. It is your wedding and you should have what you want. You shouldn't have to cross your fingers and hope for the best with something like make up... you should know you are getting what you want. :snooty: ;) I can't wait to see the finished product! No worries though! You are very beautiful and no matter what you do (even no make up at all) you will look stunning! :cutie:

If you do decide to do it yourself, I have one word for you...

LAYER!!!

Start with light colors and add medium tones, then the darkest. That goes for eyes and face. Also, if you plan to do any black and whites, you will need some color on your lips. Don't be afraid to add depth of color, in photos, you're far away.

Good luck!

I actually love the natural look on you! Youre such a beautiful girl!

I am loving all your plans...i love your shoes, they are gorgeous!!

Your wedding is so close i bet you are so excited!!!

I think you should try and find another make up artist and if you can not find one have another trial with your one and be honest and tell her the things you didnt like! You only get married once...try not to worry about telling her what you think! Be a bridezilla!!!!:rotfl:

Although i am saying this i would be totally the same as you....i always make my MIL say things for me!!!:rotfl2:

Thank you! You're right... the makeup is not worth paying for! And it's not exactly cheap either! I actually just talked to a girl who the same makeup artist did her makeup this past weekend for her wedding and she loved it! She said she did not like her trial because she was trying to be natural. So maybe after I see her wedding pics, if I like it I'll talk to her and try to reschedule.

Your Mom looks great too! Yay! What a pretty dress! :cutie:

Thanks!!

Thanks for the tips!! If I do it myself, I will definately go to the MAC counter looking for guidance!

Thank you!! I think my shoes are my favorite wedding detail!! I wish I didn't feel so bad about telling her I didn't like it! I may email her later in the week... it will be easier for me to do in email than on the phone or face to face. I'm such a wimp.:rotfl:

Angela,

I just stopped through your thread. You are so pretty, and will be such a beautiful bride. I agree with the others who said that you should emphasize your natural beauty. You also try to have your dimples stand out.

Good luck with the wedding and the disneymoon!

Thank you for the nice comments, and thank you for reading!!

OMG it is getting here so fast, that is so excited! I got your thank you yesterday, they are so cute! Even though I had a hint to what they looked like.

I know, I can't believe it's NEXT MONTH!! Ahhh! I'm glad you liked the card!! I'm sure it was a huge suprise, right?:rotfl:

I ordered a photo album for all my disney honeymoon photos today! I received my Mickey bride ears in the mail yesterday and in it was a little paper with their featured items, and this was one of them:

disneyalbum.jpg

(Kinda creepy that you can see the reflection of the man taking the picture):rotfl:
The album holds 300 photos and I figured I could easily fill that up!!

In other news, I'm going to see Disney on Ice this weekend!!! :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: It's Disneyland Adventures!!!!! I'm so freakin excited, I've never been to any Disney on Ice before!! It looks so cute on the commercials!! Has anybody seen it yet?

So here's what I need to do in the following week:
1. Pay off Disney trip
2. Get Tickets for Cirque De Soliel
3. Call to see about maybe booking Sweetheart Dinner for Two (does anybody know if you can use the dining plan with this or do you have to pay oop?)
4. Pre-order Disney Photopass CD (Do I get the cd when I'm in Disney or do I have to wait until I come home to order it?)

Is there anything else I need to do before I get to Disney?? Other than shop for new clothes??:cutie:

I'm so excited, I can't believe it's coming up so soon!!!!!

I like the picture frame album! You dont have much longer at all!!!

Thanks!!! I'm so excited!!

****

So I just got off the phone with Disney and OMG I was on hold forever! Must be lots of people calling in today!

CHECK - I booked the Sweetheart Dinner for Two at the California Grill!!:lovestruc

We already had reservations there, and I was planning on using 2 credits from the dining plan, but you do have to pay out of pocket. ($170:eek: Better be worth it!!!)

So anyways, I have 2 dining credits to use up!!!! Any suggestions? Here's what I have booked so far:

4/27/2009 - 5:55 at Boma
4/28/2009 - 5:10 at Coral Reef
4/29/2009 - 8:05 CRT (breakfast), 6:00 Sci Fi Dine In
4/30/2009 - 5:00 Chef Mickeys
5/1/2009 - 6:55 Ohanas
5/2/2009 - 5:55 Le Cellier
5/3/2009 - 7:30 California Grill - Sweetheart Dinner for Two!
5/4/2009 - 7:30 Cape May (breakfast)

We were planning on paying out of pocket for Sci-Fi & Cape May, and CRT is already paid for. Should I just use the credits for Sci-Fi & Cape May, or should I add some breakfasts or lunches somewhere? Maybe Kona??

You have 2 dining credits to use up? Have you ever done the Spirit of Aloha Luau? It takes up 2 credits. We love it! It's a must for us every trip.

I would maybe use them for Sci Fi and Cape May so you aren't paying OOP for so many.

I know, that's what I should do. :rotfl:

It sounds like it would be very fun, but I already have all my dinners booked, and I don't really want to give any of them up!

Breakfast at Kona is amazing! Tonga toast mmmm! Thats my vote... in fact go twice it's THAT good lol!

Oh I'm sorry! I didn't read the part about where you're wanting breakfast/lunch!

I think Kona would be yummy!

I think I need to try that. It seems like everyone who's had it loves it!

haha, that's ok! Next time I think I def. want to do the Luau! But we already had 2 2 credit meals, so we passed on it this time... but if I knew that I wouldn't have used credits for California Grill, I prob would have booked it! Now there's just nothing I want to give up!

LOL, I know! What about 50's primetime cafe for a lunch and maybe Kona for breakfast. Are you doing Crystal Palace?

Oh, 50's Primetime is a good idea! We aren't doing Crystal Palace... Matt hates the idea of character dining, and I'm already dragging him to 3!:rotfl:
