Android Podcast Apps

Hi All,

I just switched to a new phone a couple of weeks ago (Samsung Galaxy III) and I'm curious about what everyone here thinks would be a good podcast app for it. I have an iTouch that I usually listen to podcasts on but I was thinking that since I now have a 16GB memory card with this phone I should start using it to listen to podcasts instead.

What I'm wondering is, what is the best app for downloading podcasts and is there a reliable app to transfer my iTunes library over to my phone? I don't mind paying a small amount if needed but free is better

I use Podcast Addict on my Galaxy SIII. It allows me to subscribe to podcasts and RSS feeds. You can stream the podcasts, or download them. I have mine set to check for new episodes every 12 hours and automatically download them if I am on a Wi-Fi network so it doesn't use my cellphone data. It will then automatically put them into a queue for listening. When I wake up in the morning I typically have a few to listen to in the playlist. I just start playing them from the earliest to the newest.
Podcast Addict will also import podcasts from your iTunes library if you export it as an OPML file. I have not tried this feature but it states it can do it.

I know there's a lot of other podcast apps out there but this was the first one I really liked. But I know everyone's preferences are different.

I use BeyondPod, and I relly like that. It seems very similar to the one mentioned above.

I've been using Doggcatcher for a while now. Not free, but packed full of features, including those discussed above.

Thanks to each of you for your suggestions.

I'm going to try BeyondPod and see how that goes. I don't want to stream at the moment because I'm still working with Bell to get a corporate plan set up with the company I work for. Until that's active, I only have 150MB/month and I'm already over

I think instead of trying to convert my iTunes podcasts and music I'll just keep listening to the ones I've already downloaded on my iPod and download any new ones on my Galaxy.

Do you subscribe to the Disneyland version of the Dis Unplugged? If so, have you been able to find it on BeyondPod? I was able to find the Dis Unplugged podcast but not the Disneyland edition...hmmm
