This evening I attended a book signing by Anderson Cooper. He is surprisingly kind and genuine. He made small talk with everyone who approached him and shook everyone's hand. That's unusual for an author at a book signing. I have a lot of respect for Anderson and admire his fine work and courage.

OMG!! Lucky you. I love him, and admire his work and everything he does.

Thanks for the info.

His book is great. :thumbsup2

Jiminy Christmas!!!! :lovestruc :cloud9: :cheer2:  :Pinkbounc

I LOVE him!!!

 no joke!!! That picture is sheer hotness.

I know, the shirt matches his beautiful blue eyes, and the look, the finger on his lips, ahhhhhh  I wish I can print a huge poster and glue it to my wall. LOL like my girls do with Zac Efron! :lmao: :rotfl2: Midlife crisis. :rotfl:

One thing that struck me about Anderson is that physically speaking, he is not very big. In fact, when he first appeared at the book store, I heard people saying things like "He's just a little guy" and "He's small." Anderson is thin and has a slight build and average height. He has described himself as "scrawny" and while I hate that word, it's not far from reality in Anderson's case. Still, he is even more handsome in person than on the TV, something that can be ascribed to his natural charm and ready smile. Anderson exudes warmth.

Anderson gave a short speech and began by mentioning that he had attended a book signing at a Barnes & Nobel in NYC the other night and had been disappointed to be seated near a large display of Anne Coulter's new book. He said that this evening he was pleased to be signing in a store that had enough taste not to prominently display Anne Coulter's book. That remark won applause from the crowd and made me love him all the more.

He is a fine journalist and a good human being also. It shows in his work. Peter Jennings had the same qualities. I miss Peter a lot, but Anderson is cut from the same cloth and I enjoy watching him.

It is nice to hear that he truely is a genuine person. He is one of the few journalists that I would trust just about anything he says.

I agree 100%.

remember when he hosted the show "The Mole" and Mole II?

I think he's great.

I was very surprised when I heard on a talk show that his mother is Gloria Vanderbilt.

Yes, but didn't ABC screw around with it? I think they cancelled it halfway through the season then randomly brought it back? I loved that show!

LOL!!! Now I love him more too. I've had a crush on him since he was on The Mole. I bought the first season on DVD. That was such a great show.

I have a thing for Anderson since the Mole. Now I find out I wear his Mothers Jeans & shorts everyday to work. She still makes jeans for Woman that have zippers that are longer than an inch. :cloud9:

I had no idea they released "The Mole" on DVD!!!!!

That was my favorite show, I never missed a minute. I remember he really liked that show as well, and it definitely gave him a national forum and led him where he is today.

I'm going to order that now....Thanks for the heads up!
