All you can eat, all day, at Universal Hollywood.

Keep 'em fed, keep 'em happy. That's the new mantra at Universal Studios Hollywood, which is launching what's billed as the first "all you can eat, all day long" offer at a theme park.

For a one-time charge ($19.95, adults; $11.95, children under 48 inches tall), parkgoers can load up as many times during the day as they like at two of the park's main food outlets, Mel's Diner and Jurassic Cafe. Unlimited drinks are included, too.

"We wanted to make it easy for our guests," says Universal's Don Skeoch. The offer is available through June 30.

Do we really need this?? LOL!

Well it depends on what they offer. It sure is a good price! If salads and fruit were on the menu then I wouldn't berate them for it!

When I did WW I was AMAZED at how my stomach capacity shrunk. You don't have to eat to the max at each meal and we can actually be content with a smaller amount of food. However, the deal at Universal sounds great, even if you aren't overeating! When you calculate in the food prices it seems pretty good. This reminds me, DH and I went on a cruise I was about 6 months pregnant so going to the doc regularly for check ups. At my next checkup I had gained 1/2 lb after being on the cruise. I was actually worried about the cruise because people always talk about gaining 10 lbs etc. Well, they must eat like crazy! We actually walked tons and there were lots of healthy options - listed right on the menu or showcased on the buffet so it was easy to make healthy and tasty choices! Now if only the theme parks had more of that!

You've got to admit that if you have preteens or teens this is a good deal. However, it would be bad news for me. I'm sure that I would feel compelled to get my money's worth ;)

I would take that as a challenge and a good deal!! When I go to the parks, I think my meals for the day add up to more than that. I haven't tested the "all you can eat" thing out since I've been doing WW but I think I would know when to stop. And just because it is unlimited doesn't mean it is all bad foods. I really kind of like that idea. When I was a teenager, I actually remember NOT eating at lunch time because it was too expensive. I think paying for the whole day and knowing that you will have a meal is a better idea. Just my opinion.
