This is a list of where we ate during our last trip (on site only) if anyone has any questions:

All Star Movies
Aloha Isle (tried my first Dole Whip!)
Beaches and Cream
Boardwalk (corndogs)
Boardwalk Bakery
Boma
Boulangerie Patisserie
Cape May Café
Casey's Corner
Columbia Harbor House
Crystal Palace
Donald's Double Feature (well, not technically...just for milk...)
Electric Umbrella
Ghirardelli
Gourmet Pantry
McDonald's (DTD)
Rose & Crown (Counter)
San Angel Inn
Seashore Sweets
snacks @ Fantasmic
Peevy's Polar Concoctions
Tangierine Café
Wolfgang Puck's (marketplace)

Looks like you ate at many great places! How was your meal/dessert at Beaches and Cream? I'd like to take my family there in August. Was it very crowded?

How was Cape May? I always here conflicting reports. Thanks.

It was wonderful! We split a double cheeseburger and fries and saved room for a Fudge Mud Slide (this was the best!). The cherry coke was ok, really not sweet enough, and dh's raspberry sprite was ok as well.

The boys split a hot dog (which they had later since they both slept through the entire meal) and lemonade.

It was VERY crowded and we waited about 45 minutes before we were seated. This was about 1:15/1:30 on a Saturday afternoon.
The service seemed a bit slow too, it took forever just to get our drinks.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'd definitely go again, but maybe during the week and even later in the afternoon or late morning for an early lunch. And I'll request extra cherry in my coke next time as well...

I loved it! It was calm and quiet and a great way to end our trip (we had the character breakfast on our last morning before we departed). We missed having an omelet station (they just had a "cheese omelet" which was fine) but everything else was delicious.

The characters (Goofy, Chip & Dale) made their rounds while Minnie stayed in the front. They were all acting up and it was hilarious! I almost wish we had brought the camcorder (we left it at home this trip, since we brought it before) since it was so cute the way they interacted with the boys..."eating" their food, coloring with them, and our youngest calling out after Goofy! I think the camcorder may come with us on a future trip just for the character meals...

I want to make this a traditional last stop before hitting the road on future trips.

What did you think of
1. Tangierine Cafe in Epcot
2. Columbia Harbor House
3. Boma

Curious about Boma since we're staying at AKL in Sept. and will definitely eat there. The other two I'm considering. Please share your experiences

Thanks,
Lisa

Tangierine Cafe: I just had the baklava & a frozen strawberry slush drink here...both were delicious. I did glance over the rest of the items (I had already snacked in France & England, so there really wasn't any room for much more) and it looked and smelled great. I think next time I will try to save some room for some other main dish type items. The atmosphere is great, but not exactly a place to cool off, since it open.

Columbia Harbor House: One of my all time favorites, we always stop here for a fish & chips basket. (their chicken is pretty good too). We went at an off time, so there was plenty of room and we had our food right away.

Boma: Not as great as I was expecting, but I had to try it. The dessert bar was awesome (though I enjoyed the chocolate mousse more than the famed zebra domes) and our favorite off the main buffet?...prime rib of all things. Very exotic flavors...we tried a lot, and decided that this would not be a return stop for us. Great atmosphere, great service though. We don't really regret it, but for the price we paid, we wish we had kept our PS at 'Ohana instead of here.

HTH!

We will be staying at the ASMo this up coming trip. How is the food at the food court?

The pizza that we ordered (at the food court, not the delivery, but it is the same pizza, just more expensive to have it delivered) was fair and good enough for us (we weren't expecting gourmet).

I had the taco salad one night, which was great, and dh had a hot sausage hoagie/po-boy/sandwich that was good too. The boys ate mac n cheese (one liked it, the other didn't...that's toddlers for you) and I also picked up these ready made lunches with those smuckers PB&J, cheetos, & raisins that the boys finished off in the next day or two.

We also picked up the breakfast crossiants one morning...eggs, bacon, cheese...dh loved his (and I have liked them in the past, I was having an aversion to eggs that day and couldn't even finish it...but I think that was more of a pregnancy thing).

Overall, it was decent, prices about the same as any counter service (we spent 31 one night for dinner alone, but that was the night I had picked up those lunch things too).

Don't forget to get that mug...we more than made up for the cost of it...I think we refilled it at least 20 times in the few days we were there!

How was your meal at Chefs de France? Was it lunch or dinner?

I agree with you about dinner at Boma although I too had wonderful service. I thought breakfast was better.

Sounds like a good time was had! Thanks for posting.

It was another snack! ;) I just realized I posted the wrong name, it should have been Boulangerie Patisserie instead...sorry about that (I'll change it after this post).

I had the Raspberry Shuss (which was excellent) and picked up a chocolate cookie for the boys (which I still have since they ended up sharing the Raspberry Shuss with me).

Sorry about the mixup!

Sounds as if you ate at some wonderful places!!!

Thank you for taking the time to answer all these questions!!!

Tangierine Cafe: it looked and smelled great. I think next time I will try to save some room for some other main dish type items. The atmosphere is great, but not exactly a place to cool off, since it open.

Oh, wow! I didn't know there was no inside section. But if it smells good, mmm-- we'll probably make a stop.

Columbia House Harbor sounds great. This is another restaurant that I just don't remember seeing before. But it sounds like the food we like !!

Boma: Not as great as I was expecting, but I had to try it.

I was afraid that was what you'd say. Seems like I've read a lot of mixed reviews. Of course, since we're staying there, we'll at least try it. It'll be interesting to see what our tastebuds think!!

thanks again, Lisa

They have a patio type area, and the "inside" seating has doors open all around it (does this make any sense?, I'm trying to think of other restaurants to compare it to...) and I could not cool off at all...

I have to agree with you on boma....I was expecting more too! I thought that everything tasted just the same......with all the same spice mix. Breakfast a boma was terrific!!:D
