Well after originally booking last year for 9 of us our party is now down to 3. We had booked a villa but with just 3 of us we feel an hotel would be better for us. We have been considering an onsite hotel to save us some money on parking costs. I wondered if anyone has any views on whether All stars resort is a reasonable choice. That may be the only disney we can afford. Thanks :cool1::goodvibes

of the 4 value resorts, we've stayed at the All Star Sports, the All Star Music and the Pop Century and enjoyed all 3 of them!

if you're 3 adults, you might be a bit squished in the room - the rooms are small and the beds are only full size beds....but other than room size, the value resorts also have disney magic...and given the little time most people spend in their room, does it really make sense to spend more?...

We stayed at All Star Music a few years ago. Now I will admit to being a bit of a hotel snob and having had my misgivings about a value resort and at one point, even considered changing (my then 6 year old had picked it out from a brochure and begged to stay there). BUT, I have to say we had the most amazing time. Rooms were clean and there was plenty space for us, bus service was outstanding, plenty of entertainment around the pool, pretty good foodcourt, wonderfully friendly staff. In a way, the values offer an element of Disney magic with their OTT theming that you just don't get anywhere else. If I had to do a budget trip, or even one just for fun, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

If this is your 1st visit do not worry too much. Our first time we hardly spent any time in the room other than when we were asleep, out at 7:30 back about 4'ish showered changed out to dinner, back around 9 ish, asleep.

The real benifit is the transportation system, all those busses will get you going where you need to be, we never waited more than 20 mins.

Thanks for the replies. Not 1st timers so do realise not spending loads of time in hotel. My group is myself my sister and my 10 year old niece so hopefully beds be fine. We will be hiring a car as we intend to do ALL the parks but thought we may use the buses now and again but I believe we will not pay parking either if we in an onsite hotel. Cant wait to get things finalised now its been a stressful week :yay::cool1::flower3:

Can I ask when are you going? Just wondering if it's during free dining, if it is, you might be better off booking a mod as you would then have food included.

We go 28th nov. not sure about dining plans are they joined to the purchase of park tickets because we have bought those already
