Yea Im done riding. I cant even imagine how many times I paid to ride and got like 10 pins and never pulled the sword. Then to give buyables as prizes yet. Save the cost of riding and take your credits right to the store and buy the things they give.

Yes, Belle won lumiere after it reopened, as well i had several pins that would expire today so I again won lumiere. the only positive side seems to be the more worthless the prize, the more winners
I am telling you, the only way to adress this is go back to what you weredoing before the update. Everyday if the first winner posts the prize then we will know if we should ride or not for the day.

I agree with Adventure... As soon as we know what the day's prize is going to be we need to post to save everyone else from the garbage.

I've wasted 1460 credits to get 18 Sword Pins and so far have received nothing in return. I really wanted a Tea Party Pin too...

I thought the Host prize was the Matterhorn Bobsled Pin - is there also a Mad Hatter Pin? Ooohh... Something else to try for... heh. Is it possible for someone to post a picture of the Mad Hatter Pin please?

GoofyBob, at least you got 18 times to try. We spent a total of 6000 credits before we got 1 sword pin....and yes, we got nothing with the sword pin. I have given up. It wastes too much time and too many credits. I agree with a boycott of the rides and we have all stopped riding them as well. It is such a shame because the rides are good and fun on their own. Making this into a stressful thing to try to get something almost unattainable is ridiculous!

My theory is that with all the people riding at once, there was an overhaul on the vmk servers....so until they fix it the prizes will be crummy to discourage riding. Or quite simply VMK just got cheap on us....and if that is the case.....

So, looks what what I thought was just an accident really was not. You know, I am further convinced that this is yet another attempt to keep players hooked and playing more and more. Either that or another attempt like Sparrow was to teach us patience. I will put my feelings on this as succintly as I possibly can:

The rides are fabulous. VMK does not need to make players downright despise the rides because of what's happening with the prizes. And yes, some people are now saying they hate the rides because of this. They were wonderful on their own, why can something not be left alone and taken for what it is, and not have some gimmick like this added to it that is causing mass frustration? If you change the prize, give fair warning or have it always change on a set day. More and more people are leaving this game or not playing nearly as much because they are fed up with ridiculous things like this that suck the magic out of the game.

Peter Pan t shirt or Alice and Wonderland t shirt

Or a piece of an outfit.

I must have been one of the lucky ones as i finally managed to pull out the sword and get a tea cup pin.
I think it's unfair that vmk has changed the prizes to ones that we can buy (lumiere) and 10 credits. Hope it changes

I don't not believe that Walt Disney would ever tease us the way that Yavn and staff are!!! This isn't right... First of all we pay to ride the rides (which by the way are awesome) and if you ride them you can possibly win a magic pin. Which I am ok with
and if your lucky enough you can pull the sword out with the use of the magic pins. And the prize (or was) Tea Party Pin which that is the only way you get the Tea Party Pin. But what they have done is now give out buyables or 10 creidts for this hard achievement of getting the magic pin and pulling out the sword!!
How can they do this to us?? Again What would Walt do?

Now as for the boycot on the rides I do believe that is a good idea. I just can't see riding them evn thoughI love them and really don't mind at all paying for them... but now everytime I ride them I think of what they are doing? So I to think that the boycot is right!! And I never thought I would ever do something like that. But vmk is doing this and they are driving peopel away from vmk!! Just when you thikn they do something fantastic (which they did) they go and do something like to again drive people away ?????

Here's my 2 cents:

If you all are putting that much stock in an online game, and are getting snippy over credits being "wasted" on virtual pins that may or may not get you a prize, then you need to take a step back and reevaluate what in the world you're doing on here in the first place.

Have I spent a lot of credits on the rides? Sure. Do I want to pull out the sword? You bet (and I've only done it once, and I got 10 credits for it). Am I going to get my skivvies in a bunch because of the prizes changing, and the infrequent sword pulls? Nope. It's only a game people. Geez.

Ok I work at The Disney Store and hear the "What Would Walt Do" on a near daily basis from guests who aren't happy about something that isn't going there way (would you believe I had a guest use that on me when they were exchanging something and I asked for the receipt just so I could quickly enter the info in? Oh yes, got the whole "Walt would NEVER do something like this"). The reality is that we don't know what Walt would do...he's no longer alive. And he wasn't alive during an age when VMK was playable, therefore it's kind of a moot point to bring him into something that he knows absolutely nothing about. Second, while I completely understand (and agree with) the frustration of what's going on, we also need to keep in perspective that this is a free game. We're really not gaining or losing anything of actual importance or value in real life. For all we know, Walt wouldn't have a problem with it if he were alive. But we don't know that. We do know that some of Walt's family is still alive, and they're not banging on doors to change how VMK is operating.

All that said, this whole thing is very frustrating. The rides are still very new, however, and I'm sure it won't be long before all the kinks are worked out. Until then, perhaps we should all just wait to ride them until we know for sure that its to everyone's satisfation.

I look bad enough in the new surfer hair do. I cant imagine what I would look like in an Alice costume yet

But just a thought vmk. Not all of us are fans of the pins. Each Friday we race to the emporium and get another pin. Why cant we have a choice. New hat or pin?

IMHO, the entire point of riding these two attractions is not to win something. That's not the goal at the parks or in VMK. Getting a prize here and there is a perk. I don't ride to get anything.

This is true, but then again Disney doesn't charge you once you are in the parks to ride a ride either. So if VMK wanted it to be about just enjoying the rides, then why charge us 10 credits each time. It isn't like they need the credits to keep the park up and running, or pay the staff in credits. I think the pain people feel is if you are going to charge to ride and make the randomness of winning a prize extremely difficult, then at least give us something good.
