And the award for Best Balcony goes to...?

I would probably opt for a monorail resort view over an Epcot area one. As PP mentioned, the BWV boardwalk views can be noisy. And at BCV, some of the rooms have Juliet balconies which are standing room only. OKW is another good choice for a pretty view overlooking the golf course or water, and the rooms are the largest of all DVC rooms.

All rooms at the BCVs have a full balcony or patio. It's the BC resort rooms that have the juliet balconies. Here's my vote for the best balcony; BCV studio 431. Almost as big as the room itself!

You're right. But I do believe there are some balconies at BCV that are barely large enough for sitting on, so that's probably what I'm remembering. If the balcony is most important to OP, I'd still avoid BCV for this reason.

The smallest balcony at the BCVs can accommodate 2 chairs and a small table, with some room to spare.

I've seen reports that the smallest balconies at BCV have 2 chairs and a side table, but you'd have to side step your way to get back into the door, around a person sitting in one of the chairs. Some may not want one this small, especially if more than 2 people plan to enjoy it at any point.

We had an amazing view from a club level TPV room balcony at the GF.

My husband & I were able to have a cup of coffee out there each morning while hearing the train whistle from the MK, seeing the monorail moving along the loop, and watching the resort wake up. In the evening, we enjoyed drinks on the balcony while watching the HEA fireworks.

We had 3 small children at the time who slept just fine through it all although we did keep a white noise machine on in the room every night.

This wasn't in your list but many years ago I had a room at the Dolphin with a double balcony and that was very nice.

This is tough to narrow down to just one! I have had terrific views at Animal Kingdom Jambo with animals on the savanna. But I think my most favorite views are from the Grand Floridian and Bay Lake Tower. With water, theme park, other resorts, monorail, gorgeous sunsets at night and of course fireworks. Nothing beats this in my opinion.

The second story balcony off of our 2 bedroom villa at OKW in building 46 overlooking the river and the boats cruising back and forth from Disney Springs was wondeful.

I know it's not a "balcony" but boy the tree-house villas have a deck to die for!

If you’re talking size - then my vote goes to OKW
